Pajiba Love

Ms. Beet calls E! Entertainment out on the grammatical mistakes in their cease-and-desist letter. Messieurs Strunk and White would be so proud. (Evil Beet)

Jib Jab is all jibber-jabbered out. Guh. (TVGasm)

Who knew that crack had so many calories? Natasha Lyonne knows now. (Agent Bedhead)

And speaking of drug use, remember the time that Kermit the Frog injected horse into his soft, green veins? (Deus Ex Malcontent)

In self-congratulatory news, QuizLaw turns 1,000-posts old today. Take the rest of the day off and read them all. You have our permission. (QuizLaw)

The Pussycat Dolls really are all about feminist empowerment. (Feministing)

Single fellas -- there's a reason you're not getting laid. And it's your apartment. (NYTimes)

Karl Rove has made the unfortunate leap into hip hop. If you really want to show us your "street cred," trying taking a bullet. Or ten. The indignity after the jump.

I... that... video... why?

It burns. It burns and I want it to stop.

I couldn't get through that entire Karl Rove video. Just...couldn't do it. I kinda feel bad for the ONE guy with rhythm in that clip.

Also, Kermit? I'm sending that clip to my sister who has an unhealthy love for him. (I feel bad killing that part of her childhood, but come on! Hilarious!)

A childhood idol and a wonderful song ruined in one click of the 'Play' button. Nice.

And to follow it up with the Natasha Lyonne thing was an extra little twist on the knife in my heart. Had a crush on her since seeing But I'm a Cheerleader, yet after that whole dog-molesting-threat episode and then her collapse and subsequent hospitalization, the feeling weren't as strong, if you can believe it.

I admit, this is the horny male in me, but if any Pajiban females would like to show their...."confidence" around, I would not mind at all.

It is a bad sign when I am more interested in the ticker than the main story being shown. Secret Nazi concentration camp files, millions of dollars wasted by the VA, and Castro's illness, and what gets top billing? Goddamn "MC Rove".

And isn't that guy doing most of the 'rapping' (guh) one of the guys from "Whose Line Is It Anyway"? Damn, man.

That pussycat doll show is strong evidence that maybe that whole women's lib thing wasn't such a good idea.

Or maybe it's evidence "that whole women's lib thing" isn't finished yet.

That video makes me want to gouge my eyes out with plastic picnic forks. Could they probably have made it MORE like a minstrel show? Maybe had Colin Mochrie put on blackface, maybe?

"That pussycat doll show is strong evidence that maybe that whole women's lib thing wasn't such a good idea."

Actually, it's evidence that people don't really have an idea as to what women's lib is about, or they take things from the movement and screw them up. (Hint: I don't have to pole dance and dress like a Pussycat Doll to be sexy.)

I couldn't get away from that damn video last night. First Stewart (who seemed genuinely appaled to be showing it) then Letterman. Now you?
