Pajiba Love
Giddy giddy giddy giddy! It's this close to happening, people! Maybe now David Cross will be able to build like, a sun room onto his cabin in upstate New York. (Starpulse)
Attention everyone -- Dustin and Seth in drag! Mental imagery served up hot and fresh! (QuizLaw)
Making fun of a person who can't turn on a computer on your website is almost as fun as flipping off a blind person. (WIMB)
With appetite suppressants and herbs to promote healthy skin, the only things Go Girl Glo Energy Drink doesn't do are enhance your bust and cover up those pesky gray hairs. (The Impulsive Buy)
Anthropomorphized animals and *shudder* Carlos Mencia: the best and worst (but mostly worst) Superbowl commercials. (Chris and Qualler)
Paula Abdul also "performed" at the Superbowl. Although I'm not convinced if that was really her lip syncing, or a Filipino boy cranked out on speed. (Yeeeah!)
Oh yeah, and I guess some football stuff happened, too. (Galley Slaves)
Now what is very important to remember here, is that it's easy to make $29 million if you're charging twice as much for a ticket. $17!!!! (The Blemish)
I don't care if she has a good voice or not, Christina Aguilera is just fucking grating. I couldn't get past second 30 of this clip. (FourFour)
Were the nuanced motifs of Meet the Spartans just a smidge over your head? Finally, a movie that dumbs it down just a little more, to appeal to the crumbs below the lowest common denominator, after the jump.

It constantly amazes me that such a small person can make such a racket.
There's a joke in there somewhere involving Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, and a mexican donkey show, but that is probably Pissboy's arena.

Whatever, I already saw the Bluth story on Scandal Makers.
Something about "perhaps an attic shall I seek had a ring of truth to it."

Giddy does not BEGIN to cover it.

Seriously, an Arrested Development movie? This actually makes up for most of that whole SuperBowl-being-a-total-disaster thingy.

Am I the only AD fan feeling apprehensive about a movie?
Posted by: Lannie at February 4, 2008 8:03 PM
im a little wary...the episodes were such perfectly contained nuggets of absurdity that let jokes develop over SEASONS...most of the comedy came from the callbacks to jokes from prior episodes...i dont know how they can pull that off in a movie...so hopefully they come up with some sort of approach that could work...regardless, i will so be there.

I'm a little wary too. I don't know how they can even come close to the awesomeness of the show. On the other hand, I'll take whatever I can get.

A filipino boy?
Really? Hmm.

To the wary- compare a not-as-great ArrDev movie to anything out there right now. Go on, I'll wait...
P.S. Anything to take the sting out of the last episode, which kinda made me go "Um. Huh." as opposed to the "Yay!" of every other episode.
