Before we get to the full list of Netflix offerings this month, here are some highlights to keep your eyes on:

The One Everyone’s Been Waiting For: Disenchantment
You know, that new Matt Groening medieval fantasy cartoon starring Abbi Jacobson as a drunk princess, Nat Faxon as an elf, and Eric Andre as a demon? Yeah, that’s finally launching on August 17th. You’re welcome, world!

The One Everyone’s Pissed Off About: Insatiable
A dark comedy about a woman who was bullied for being fat, and seeks revenge now that she’s thin. This sounded kinda fatphobic since day one, and so far the reviews say the series is even worse than anticipated. So… I guess you can watch starting August 10th and decide for yourselves?

The One I’d Never Heard Of But Now Kinda Really Wanna Watch: The Package
A raunchy teen camping comedy wherein a kid ACCIDENTALLY CHOPS OFF HIS OWN PENIS? And then hijinks ensues when they try to get it reattached? Um, sign me the fuck up. Available Aug. 10th.

The Guilty Pleasures:
The Innocents, on Aug. 24th, is a series about a couple of runaway teens who discover that one of them is a shapeshifter. Also - Hey, Guy Pearce!

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, on Aug. 10th, just looks like a ridiculously charming romance, directed by Mike Newell, about a female writer in the aftermath of World War II, and the dudes who fall in love with her. Starring Lily James, Glen Powell, Michiel Huisman, and Matthew Goode.

The Ones Netflix Didn’t Make:
Constantine is a supernatural thriller that doesn’t resemble its source material but DOES feature pretty rad performances from Keanu Reeves, Rachel Weisz, Tilda Swinton, and Peter Stormare. Honestly? I shoulda put it on our “Movies That Seriously Fuck” list. Also? The Good Place Season 2 is getting added on Aug. 28th, so if you haven’t caught up… uh, just do it. It’s great.
