We’ve talked about Netflix’s upcoming Lost In Space reboot in the past. Hell, we’ve talked about the 1998 Lost In Space reboot as well (you know, the one where Matt LeBlanc hits on the Robinson girls… even the teenage one). Who knows whether Netflix’s version will prove that the third time’s a charm when it comes to telling story of a space colonizing family that gets, uh, lost, but at least this new extended look offers a glimpse of the gender-swapped Dr. Smith I’ve been waiting for: Parker Posey!

It’s still hard to tell what angle this iteration of the Robinson Family Vacation Fail is taking, though I’m guessing it’ll eschew the scenery-chewing camp of the 1998 version and go serious, like the Battlestar Galactica reboot before it. There’s barren landscapes, and danger, and a robot with a star in its head? Or something? I’m intrigued. The series launches April 13th, so until then I’m planning on killing time by rewatching this clip from The House of Yes:

Parker Posey saying “Oh please, if people are going to start telling the truth around here, I’m going to bed” is my happy place.

In other Netflix news, the platform ALSO dropped a new trailer for the second season of Luke Cage, announcing the date of its return: June 22nd.

It doesn’t offer too much information on the new season, but that’s ok. We’ve still got 13 new episodes of Jessica Jones coming this week, so there’s no need to be greedy.
