Nope.

This movie had a budget of $31 million dollars. And they couldn’t afford anyone to do a better wedding photo Photoshop job than this?

    I thought one of the flight attendants was seen decapitated after the crash. Or did I see it wrong and her top half was just mashed into a floor hatch?

  • I've rarely encountered promotional material for a film that has made me want to see said film less. Yeah, there's obviously shitty films; I'm not gonna go see them anyway. This one, yeah, maybe on a ridiculous day I might go see a film about a cokepilot, who's to say? But something ineffable about every single bit of marketing ejected dirty halitosis breath all over me.

    I think the worst I've ever seen was in The Bucket List. There's a picture of Morgan Freeman with his fictional sons (at least one of whom is his actual son), and it's not only egregiously 'shopped, but the sons are in a scene with him later in the movie! You're telling me they couldn't just snap a quick photo on the set and frame it? It's seriously horrible, too. Check it out.

    I am thoroughly disgusted. They should hire whoever the hell is making the size four girls look like size zeros at Ralph Lauren.

    Sad to say, $31 million isn't a very big budget. Supposedly Denzel worked for a tenth of his usual salary. So after paying for CGI, salaries, etc., they probably didn't have money left over to pay for a graphic designer. I'm kinda surprised they bothered to 'shop Denzel into a picture, however shoddily it was done.

    The last five minutes was easily the most disturbing thing.

    Do I even want to know how her foot got severed? The flight attendant almost getting smushed by the runaway cart during the LOST crash sequence freaked me out enough, so I'll pass. But I also morbidly want to know now.

  • When the plane flips upside down, bad things happen. Her death is one of the only genuinely moving scenes in the film because of the reason she got out of her seat when the plane began to fail.

    My browser sometimes gets hung up on GIFs and only shows a still before it can fully load - as I scrolled down to the foot, I was both terrified and freakishly curious whether that photo would start to animate and give me the full story...

  • It may have, and Joe Cocker "Feeling Alright." That and SftD were used at least twice in the movie. It was basically a sojndtrack consisting of EVERY soundtrack ever.

    I like to think they found common ground with their blindingly white foreheads. This goes beyond simple ashiness. No amount of Palmer's or Eucerin will fix that shit.
