As we all know, Jon Stewart’s time on The Daily Show will be ending on August 6th. He’s had a lot of noteworthy guests in his time on the show, including President Obama twice during his presidency and four times as a candidate. He was the first sitting president to visit the show, in fact. Obama’s last appearance on The Daily Show was during the fall of 2012 when he was running for re-election. But it’s been announced that Obama will be returning to The Daily Show this Tuesday for a final visit before Stewart leaves.

There’s a lot of things that Stewart and Obama can discuss, but I wonder if both of them will just bond over being relieved at not having to deal with another election cycle as a commentator or as a politician. Especially as the next one is shaping up to be a rough one already with over a year to go until the actual election.
