Goodnight, And Coming Up Next: "The Inappropriate Young Ladies Auxiliary"

FDR-fireside-chat.jpg

Tonight’s schedule looks a little weird because of a Presidential address airing on all the major stations and the attempts to schedule around it. The network quickest out of the gate after the speech is ABC, which has scheduled in such a way that it appears that President Obama will speak to the American people about the end of the U.S combat mission in Iraq for a scant 15 minutes, after which “Wipeout” will immediately begin. Somehow I doubt that FDR’s fireside chats were followed up by a radio show featuring people falling in mud and being knocked in the head by kickballs. The good news is that none of your beloved cable network shows are affected at all, so all you “19 Kids and Counting” fans can get your daily dose of clown car uterus horror right on time. Here’s your Tuesday night TV:

8:00pm: “Presidential Address” on ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC

“Melissa and Joey” on ABC Family

8:16pm: “Wipeout” on ABC

8:20pm: “Minute to Win It” on NBC

9:00pm: “19 Kids and Counting” on TLC

“America’s Got Talent” on NBC

“The Bad Girls Club” on Oxygen. The other week I saw a commercial or promo for this and one of the girls in the house was wearing a pair of target brand pajama pants that I own and it was unsettling in a way I can’t quite explain. Like listening to Schoenberg.

“Bait Car: New Orleans” on TruTV

“Flipping Out” on Bravo

“I’m Pregnant And…” on Health. This weeks “And” is “A Nudist.” Guess the Health channel video editors are going to get carpal tunnel on their blur filter hand this week.

“It’s Effin’ Science” on G4

“Make It or Break It” on ABC Family. Second season summer finale.

“Swords: Life on the Line” on Discovery

“Warehouse 13” on SyFy

“White Collar” on USA

9:16pm: “Shaq vs.” on ABC. Second season finale. Shaq takes on Justin Bieber and Jimmy Kimmel tonight. Maybe he and Bieber will make the daring decision to join their vocal stylings to remake Kazaam. (Side note: I just googled Kazaam to make sure I was remembering it correctly and found out the kid is Francis Capra who played Weevil on “Veronica Mars.” He just lost about a billion bad ass points with me.)

9:30pm: “Bait Car: New Orleans” on TruTV. Third season finale.

10:00pm: “Big Lake” on Comedy Central

“Chopped” on Food Network

“The Colony” on Discovery

“Covert Affairs” on USA

“POV: Wo Ai Ni (I Love You) Mommy” on PBS

“The Rachel Zoe Project” on Bravo

“Rescue Me” on FX. Sixth season finale.

“Scrappers” on Spike TV

“Teen Mom” on MTV

“Trey Songz” on BET. First season finale.

10:16pm: “Primetime” on ABC. Fourth season premiere.

10:30pm: “Big Lake” on Comedy Central

“The IT Crowd” on IFC

11:00pm: “Louie” on FX

Late Night Listings

“The Late Show with David Letterman” on CBS featuring Michael Douglas and Merle Haggard

“The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on NBC featuring Kim Kardashian, Rep. Barney Frank, and Norah Jones

“The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” on CBS featuring Don Johnson and Laura Lippman

“Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on NBC featuring Drew Barrymore, Snoop Dog, and Black Mountain

Merle Haggard! He's one of those "I thought he was dead!" guys for me.

On my IFC I've got Orgazmo and Cinema Secrets, nothing close to The IT Crowd. Fucking Canada.

Maybe he and Bieber will make the daring decision to join their vocal stylings to remake Kazaam.

You know you just made that happen, right? I will hold you responsible, Redhead!

OH. My. Gosh.
See, to me that just makes him cooler.
Did you also know that as a child actor he played one of the flashback kiddos in SLC Punk? And would he then regain his badass points? I vote yes.

I will most definitely be watching Melissa and Joey because life is too short to be deprived of MJH. That's right, I said it. I don't care how terrible the show is.

I’d be inclined to be of the same mind with you one this subject. Which is not something I usually do! I really like reading a post that will make people think. Also, thanks for allowing me to speak my mind!

The Kardashian girls should be deported to Syberia. They aren't worth the powder to blow their shirt tails over their heads !

Nascar and the Moron Mike Hilton and the dubious France family have made the boringest season yet. I wonder after of all those years of gulching fans on ticket prices and changing and manipulating races they got the outcome they want? Empty seats everywhere you look. Watch it on to TV and witness the empty sections. Nascar even tried to help Earnhardt win races that was a failure to. Bring back the OLD SCHOOL

Kim Kardashian I dont really assume would have been as famous if not for that tape gettin leaked like it did. not a shabby move on her behalf in the slightest degree if you ask me.
