And the *Giggle* Emmy Goes To…

Hello, my lovelies! It's been an extremely long and eventful week for me, but things are settling down now and my furniture and I are mostly done with the moving around for a bit so we can sit back and wait for the bruises to fade. Except the one the TV got from its fall into a parking lot puddle, I don't think that's coming out. I hope all of you have had a great week and now we can go back to looking forward to the end of summer programming together. Really, it's just a few short weeks until we're back to all the regular programming that most of us have a rather severe love/hate relationship with. In my case, it means I get some new material so I'm thrilled about it. All things considered though, tonight's not looking so bad. Here's your Sunday night TV:

7:00pm: "60 Minutes" on CBS

"Red Carpet to the Primetime Emmys" on NBC. I'd watch these shows more if it were more about the pretty pretty dresses and less about the people wearing them and/or interviewing the people wearing them.

8:00pm: "Big Brother" on CBS

"Food Network Challenge" on Food Network

"NFL Preseason: Pittsburgh at Denver" on Fox. Each preseason game is just one game closer to when the players start trying for real.

"62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards" on NBC. Three hour special presentation. I'd be more excited about this if Jimmy Fallon wasn't hosting. Or if it was just a three hour version of "Mad Men" where everyone was pretty in formal attire rather than vintage clothing which is sort of close to what it is now, really.

9:00pm: "The Cove" on Animal Planet. This is that movie about the dolphin slaughter in Japan, Prisco reviewed it a while ago and it looks like an extremely informative if tragic documentary.

"Bridezillas" on WE

"Drop Dead Diva" on Lifetime

"The Great Food Truck Race" on Food Network

"Hoarding: Buried Alive" on TLC

"Ice Road Truckers" on History

"Leverage" on TNT

"Masterpiece!: Inspector Lewis, Series III: Counter Culture Blues" on PBS

"Ochocinco: The Ultimate Catch" on VH1

"Rubicon" on AMC

"True Blood" on HBO

10:00pm: "Amazing Wedding Cakes" on WE. Third season premiere. So, Lifetime is the channel for women where women are always getting beaten or abused, I guess WE is the channel for women where women are always in the process of getting married. Since all these decisions are based off extensive market research into what women want to see on TV, I'm beginning to wonder what women the market research groups are talking to.

"BBC America Special: Leaving Home At 8 Years Old" on BBCA

"Delocated!" on Adult Swim

"Drop Dead Diva" on Lifetime. Second season finale.

"The Glades" on A&E

"Hung" on HBO

"Iron Chef America" on Food Network

"Keeping Up With the Kardashians" on E!

"Las Vegas Jailhouse" on TruTV. Second season finale.

"Lottery Changed My Life" on TLC

"Mad Men" on AMC

"Snapped" on Oxygen

"Swamp People" on History

"The TO Show" on VH1. The site I use for listings only lists titles in lower case letters, and every time I see this it takes me a second to remember what "the to show" is. I'm really hoping there's a day coming soon where I won't have to remember.

10:30pm: "Children's Hospital" on Adult Swim

"Entourage" on HBO

"The Spin Crowd" on E!
