Pajiba After Dark: Mo *chicka* Moa
Tonight, Jason Momoa is on "Conan." I don't actually have any comments about that, I just figured I'd lead off with it because apparently Mr.Momoa is how you generate page views round these parts lately. Also the season finale of "Masterchef" which a lot of you apparently feel very strongly about and a few of those shows that revolve around auctions or pawn shops. I find it interesting that the American 'get rich quick' scheme seems to change every few years. Forever ago it was internet start ups, then more recently flipping houses, now it seems to be finding valuables in discarded or otherwise seemingly worthless junk. I'm sure that if I were a sociologist I'd find something significant there but I'm not. Y'all are free to discuss at will though. Here's your Tuesday night TV:
8:00pm: "Cupcake Wars" on Food Network
"It's Worth What?" on NBC.
"Masterchef" on Fox. Two hour second season finale.
"Pretty Little Liars" on ABC Family
9:00pm: "America's Got Talent" on NBC
"Auction Kings" on Discovery
"Downsized" on WE. Second season premiere.
"Flipping Out" on Bravo
"Hardcore Pawn" on TruTV
"Memphis Beat" on TNT. Second season finale.
"The Nine Lives of Chloe King" on ABC Family. First season finale.
"Take the Money and Run" on ABC. This week the chase is set in the Miami area which I have two thoughts on. First is that I hope they've got a PA watching wherever the brief case gets hidden because otherwise that shit will just walk off. Second is that I'm sure there's some rule against taking the case out into the Everglades and dumping it into an alligator infested swamp because that's the first thing I'd do. You'd have to use a pole with a hook on the end to get it back but that's a small price to pay for $100,000.
"What Not to Wear" on TLC. Ninth season premiere.
10:00pm: "Auction Hunters" on SpikeTV
"Billy the Exterminator" on A&E
"Born to Dance: Laurieanne Gibson" on BET
"Chopped" on Food Network. Eighth season finale.
"Combat Hospital" on ABC
"Dirty Money" on Discovery
"Family Restaurant" on WE
"Gordon Ramsay's F Word" on BBCA
"Hawthorne" on TNT. Third season finale.
"Picker Sisters" on Lifetime
"Teen Mom" on MTV
"Top Shot" on History
11:00pm: "Awkward" on MTV
Late Night Listings
"Jimmy Kimmel Live" on ABC featuring Jamie Foxx, Affion Crockett, and the Vaccines. You know, Kimmel's show seems to have a prime directive to shill for ABC since they have everyone kicked off every reality show that runs on ABC appear on Jimmy Kimmel immediately after they're eliminated, but I'm confused as to why they have the executive producer and star of a new Fox series on tonight. Curiouser and curiouser.
"The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" on Comedy Central featuring Matt Long
"The Colbert Report" on Comedy Central featuring STS-135 astronauts
"Chelsea Lately" on E featuring Denis Leary, Jo Koy, Loni Love, and Jeff Wild
"Conan" on TBS featuring Anne Hathaway, Pajibette favorite Jason Momoa, and Sean O'Connor
