Pajiba After Dark: Hey Look! More Attractive People!
Part of growing up is being able to admit you've made a mistake and I did indeed make a mistake with yesterday's late night listings. That's what happens when you try to write at 4am on two hours of sleep, apparently, and I apologize profusely for the error. It may not be the last one this week, as I will be trading in the schedule of a meth addict for working with middle schoolers all day for several days in a row. Basically, if I can make it to the coming weekend without my brain leaking out of my skull and forming a pile of screaming grey goo on the floor I've won. But that doesn't matter, because the Pajiba 10 came out today so all of you are going to be either drooling over that or explaining to people why they're wrong about their celebrity crushes in the comment section. Here's your Tuesday night TV:
8:00pm: "Cupcake Wars" on Food Network
"Hell's Kitchen" on Fox
"History Detectives" on PBS
"Pretty Little Liars" on ABC Family
9:00pm: "101 Ways to Leave a Game Show" on ABC
"19 Kids and Counting" on TLC
"America's Got Talent" NBC
"Bizarre Food with Andrew Zimmern" on Travel
"Deadliest Catch" on Discovery
"Flipping Out" on Bravo
"Monster Kitchen" on Food Network
"Gordon Ramsay's Great Escape" on BBCA
"Hardcore Pawn" on TruTV
"Masterchef" on Fox
"Memphis Beat" on TNT
"The Nine Lives of Chloe King" on ABC Family
"Staten Island Cakes" on WE
"White Collar" on USA
10:00pm: "48 Hours Mystery" on CBS
"Aftermath with William Shatner" on Bio
"Chopped" on Food Network
"Combat Hospital" on ABC
"Covert Affairs" on USA. They've been showing promos for this and it's all about how the one guy who is blind lost his sight (Christopher Gorham, or so IMDB informs me) and it features him hanging around shirtless and he's SHOCKINGLY buff so I'm not sure if I'm saying that you should watch it just for that but, you know, I won't discourage you from doing so either.
"Deadliest Catch: Alaskan Monster Hunt" on Discovery
"Gene Simmons Family Jewels" on A&E
"Hawthorne" on TNT
"Hef's Runaway Bride" on Lifetime
"The Little Couple" on TLC
"Million Dollar Decorators" on Bravo. First season finale.
"POV: Biblioburro by Carlos Réndon Zipagauta" on PBS
"Storage Hunters" on TruTV
"Teen Mom" on MTV
"Tosh.0" on Comedy Central. Here's the thing; I actually sort of like Daniel Tosh on his own. I don't really like the show, which seems to be a lot about why funny things are funny. It seems to be based around the same concept as "The Soup" but that specializes in making jokes about or pointing out the absurdity of material which was not originally intended to be humorous. I'm not sure why the distinction is important, but it is.
"Toya" on BET
10:30pm: "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" on A&E
11:00pm: "Awkward" on MTV. Series premiere.
