Hello, Ladies…

I'm sure some of you who have things like regular jobs that don't involve unrestricted access to the internet may have missed this earlier this week (and I am a couple days late reporting it, and I'm pretty sure Jeremy posted one of these already but oh well) but The Man Your Man Could Smell Like of Old Spice commercial fame has been answering tweets, YouTube comments and other internet enquiries with videos. Now, I'm generally opposed to TV shows based around advertising comments (as is the rest of the country, based on the collective reaction to "Cavemen") and obviously any schtick get old eventually but damnit I love The Man Your Man Could Smell Like. Just look at this! Or this one. Or the one where he proposes to someone's girlfriend for them! Of course, I'm pretty sure that last one would back fire immediately when said girlfriend realized she was not actually marrying The Man Your Man Could Smell Like. Anyway, if you need an alternative to the television options tonight, there's worse ways to spend your time than sifting through all those videos. At least I hope so, because I've spent an embarrassing amount of time doing just that. I may start this column with "Hello, ladies..." from here on out. Here's your Thursday night TV:

8:00pm: "Big Brother" on CBS

"Wipeout" on ABC. New episode at a special time.

9:00pm: "Burn Notice" on USA

"Health Special: Born on a Bad Day" on Health. One hour special presentation. I mean, from the mother's perspective, is anyone ever really born on a good day? Even if everything goes well, I understand that labor is not exactly a pleasant experience and it either ends with a broken cooch or a hole in your abdomen. I mean, and a baby, but that's still not what I'd call a "good day" and I like babies.

"Mary Knows Best" on SyFy. Series premiere.

"Police Women of Memphis" on TLC

"Rookie Blue" on ABC

"Smoking Gun Presents: World's Dumbest Lovers 2" on TruTV. I'm curious about how much detail they can get into at this hour. I expect a lot of lame euphemisms.

"So You Think You Can Dance" on Fox

10:00pm: "Ace of Cakes" on Food Network. They make a cake for the "30 Rock" cast tonight so Pajiba favorite Tina Fey will be on.

"Bethenny Getting Married" on Bravo

"Boston Med" on ABC

"Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files: Burning Rubber/Hyperjump" on SyFy. Series premiere.

"Futurama" on Comedy Central

"NICU: Just Breathe" on Health. Series premiere. This just sounds bleak.

"The OCD Project" on VH1. First season finale.

"Penn and Teller: Bullshit" on Showtime. Tonight's topic is Area 51. If you care about Area 51, you deserve whatever insults are likely to be heaped on you after this episode.

"Raising Sextuplets" on WE

"Royal Pains" on USA

"TLC Special: Cellblock 6: Female Lock Up: I Told the Truth" on TLC. One hour special presentation.

"Top 20 Most Shocking: Losers in Love" on TruTV. Second season premiere. Probably a whole lot more Enzyte commercial-esque double talk about "that certain part of the male body."

Late Night Listings

"The Late Show with David Letterman" on CBS featuring Kyra Sedgwick, Bret Michaels, and Jimmy Cliff.

"The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on NBC featuring Ellen Page, Austin "Chumlee" Russel & Corey Harrison, and Grace Potter & the Nocturnals.

"Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" on NBC featuring Jennifer Love Hewitt, Thierry Henry, and a performance by the cast of Broadway's "Million Dollar Quartet."
