Pajiba After Dark: Aren't We Special?
Last night one of you lovely readers out there caught a proofreading mistake I'd made in the column and pointed it out. Now, it's not unusual that I make slight spelling or grammar mistakes so I want all of you to know that please, feel free to let me know if you catch one. You can mention it in the comments or email me because I'm terrible at proofreading things I've written and am happy to fix them if they're really irking you. Most of the time. I've found that some of my spelling mistakes end up making things more amusing for all of us so some of them I just leave alone even if I know they're there. So, with that said, here's your Monday night TV:
8:00pm: "The Bachelorette" on ABC
"Basketball Wives" on VH1
"Last Man Standing" on Lifetime. Original Telefilm.
"Mastercheif" on Fox. Second season premiere.
"Great Performances: Jackie Evancho: Dream With Me in Concert" on PBS
"The Secret Life of the American Teenager" on ABC Family. Third season finale.
"WWE Tough Enough" on USA. Fifth season finale.
9:00pm: "American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior" on Discovery. Second season finale.
"American Pickers" on History
"Cake Boss" on TLC
"Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" on Food Network
"Bobby Fischer Against the World" on HBO
"Off Limits" on Travel
"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" on Bravo
"Single Ladies" on VH1
"Switched at Birth" on ABC Family. Series premiere. I'm pretty sure that there won't ever be another show that deals with the concept of being switched at birth as well as the "Veronica Mars" episode "Silence of the Lamb." I'd say that I'm willing to be proven wrong but given that the series is airing on ABC Family I don't think I've got anything to worry about.
"Unfaithful" on OWN. Series premiere.
"WWE: RAW" on USA
10:00pm: "The Dr.Laura Berman Show" on OWN. Series premiere.
"Kate Plus 8" on TLC
"Law and Order: Los Angeles" on NBC
"Meat & Potatoes" on Food Network
"Nurse Jackie" on Showtime
"Pawn Star$" on History
"Platinum Hit" on Bravo. The show that answers the burning question "So what's Jewel been up to these days?"
"Sanctuary" on SyFy
"Setup Squad" on Logo
"Swamp Brothers" on Discovery
"Teen Wolf" on MTV
"Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition" on ABC
10:20pm: "James May's Road Trip" on BBCA. Can I tell you something? I know there's more than a few of you out there who are big fans of this show so I'm happy to list it but it being at an odd time always drives me a little bit nuts. I have to create a whole special little time bracket for it because it's too special to start on the hour or half hour and because I don't really watch BBCA much (*ducks*) I haven't the first clue why that's the case which only adds to my irrational resentment. I feel better now.
10:30pm: "The Best Thing I Ever Ate" on Food Network
"The United States of Tara" on Showtime
