Nothing Else I Can Say

We lost a television legend today, and there's really no entertaining spin on that. Everything that needs to be said has already been said far more eloquently than I could ever manage. I will say that it seems a little unfair that the generation prior to mine had "The Golden Girls" in their formative years, whereas my generation had "Sex in the City." Here's Thursday night's TV:

8:00pm: "ABC Sports Special: Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night" on ABC. Special presentation.

"So You Think You Can Dance" on Fox. New two hour episode. I was talking about this with a friend last night; I really like it in that there's a lot of real talent on display, but hate that about 70% of the show is people talking, rehearsal footage, interviews, and other things that aren't people dancing. I might just DVR it so I can fast-forward through all the useless crap. Fun TV fact: "Glee"'s Brittany was on some previous season of "So You Think You Can Dance."

8:30pm: "100 Questions" on NBC

"ABC Sports Special: NBA Coundown" on ABC. Special presentation.

9:00pm: "Burn Notice" on USA. Fourth season premiere.

"The First 48" on A&E

"Police Women of Memphis" on TLC

"Creating Synthetic Life: Your Questions Answered" on Science. One hour special presentation. Is that you, Skynet?

"ABC Sports Speical: NBA Finals, Game 1" on ABC. Special presentation.

10:00pm: "Mall Cops: Mall of America" on TLC. This episode is called "Palin Power." I just don't want to know.

"Modern Marvels" on History. New episode at a special time.

"The OCD Project" on VH1

"The Real Housewives of New York City" on Bravo. Third season finale.

"Royal Pains" on USA. Second season premiere.

Late Night Listings

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" on ABC featuring Colin Ferrell, Rose Bryne, and Miike Snow

"The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" on CBS featuring Adam Goldberg, Jamy Ian Swiss, and Jeff Stilson

"The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" on Comedy Central featuring Jonah Hill

"The Colbert Report" on Comedy Central featuring Vampire Weekend
