I Know American Teenagers and You, Show, Are No American Teenager
What is it about Mondays that seems so depressing? Even if you're not working on Monday, it's just got that air about it, that "Oh, man, I can't believe it's Monday again" drag that hangs over everything. Doesn't help when it's also all rainy, and when there's nothing but crap on the TV that evening. Here's Monday night's offerings:
8:00pm: "The Bachelorette" on ABC
"Lie to Me" on Fox
"Little People, Big World" on TLC
"The Secret Life of the American Teenager" on ABC Family. All I can ever remember about this show is that clip they showed on "The Soup" one time where some girl was talking about how her dad died because she had really awesome sex. Aside from the ridiculous plot contrivance that must've involve,d who was having really awesome sex as a teenager? Most people I know took till college to get to a point where it wasn't mostly an awkward, hasty, sticky disaster. Anyway, that is the entirety of my thoughts on this show.
8:30pm: "Little People, Big World" on TLC. 6th season finale.
9:00pm: "Behind the Music: Eve" on VH1
"Cake Boss" on TLC
"Dirty Boss" on Discovery. One hour special presentation.
"Dr.G: Medical Examiner" on Health
"The Good Guys" on Fox. Anyone seen this? Is it good? Colin Hanks seems like a nice guy, and I want him to do well but not so much so that I've committed actual time to this show yet.
"HBO Special: For Neda" on HBO. Special presentation.
"Last Comic Standing" on NBC. Time slot premiere.
9:30pm: "Cake Boss" on TLC
"Operation Repo" on TruTV
10:00pm: "Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern" on Travel.
"Dad Camp" on VH1. Time slot premiere.
"Dance Your Ass Off" on Oxygen. Time slot premiere.
"Food Buddha" on TLC. Special presentation.
"The Hard Times of RJ Berger" on MTV. Time slot premiere.
"Mystery Diagnosis" on Health
"Neighbors from Hell" on TBS
"Persons Unknown" on NBC
"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" on Bravo
"Saving Grace" on TNT
"True Beauty" on ABC
