To Mothers, and the Ability Not to Be One
Today is both Mother’s Day and the 50th anniversary of the birth control pill, so really almost everyone has a reason to celebrate. Either you’re celebrating the wonderful women in your life who are mothers, or you’re celebrating the wonderful fact that not every woman has to become a mother or be a mother to more children than she wants. Those of you who are doing your celebrating over dinner; don’t worry, you’re not missing much on TV tonight. Here’s what’s on:
