"Alone" is a Pathetic Predicament. "Lone" is an Aesthetic Choice.
I'm within a month of being done with my first year of Grad school, which means that the next few weeks are a veritable flurry of tests, projects, academic advising meetings and the like. And that's just to do with school, never mind the other mess with regards to what I'm going to do for the summer, where I'm going to be living next year, and just what the hell am I going to do with myself a year from now after I've actually earned this degree so I will not be getting a good night's sleep until probably May 13th at the earliest. According to certain people I get more amusing the more sleep deprived I get so maybe all of y'all have something to look forward to. Welcome to Tuesday night:
8:00pm: "90210" on The CW. Because I am a nerd I've already looked up what the day that 9/02/10 falls on and have noticed that it's a Thursday. I dearly hope that The CW does not pass up a once in a lifetime opportunity to air "90210" on 9/02/10 just because of a minor scheduling conflict.
"American Idol" on Fox. New two hour episode. Dear god, this show just goes on and on and on, doesn't it?
"The Biggest Loser" on NBC
"Dancing With the Stars" on ABC
"NCIS" on CBS
"Nova: Hunting the Edge of Space: The Mystery of the Milky Way" on PBS
8:30pm: "Showtime Special: My Dad's in Heaven with Nixon" on Showtime. Special 90 minute presentation. That title is... intriguing in a way. I'm kind of wondering if this is a retrospective in the style of A Proud Taste for Scarlet and Miniver or a relatively dull documentary. I'm betting the latter.
9:00pm: "19 Kids and Counting" on TLC
"Lost" on ABC
"Melrose Place" on The CW
"NCIS: Los Angeles" on CBS
"Survivors" on BBCA
10:00pm: "16 and Pregnant" on MTV
"Chopped" on Food Network. Fourth season premiere.
"The Good Wife" on CBS
"Justified" on FX
"Law and Order: Criminal Intent" on USA
"Little Chocolatiers" on TLC
"Little Miss Perfect" on WE. Second season finale.
"The Michael Vick Project" on BET. First season finale.
"Millionaire Matchmaker" on Bravo
"Parenthood" on NBC
"Southland" on TNT. Second season finale. I've seen a few episodes of this so far, and while I think some of it is intriguing, there's a couple of characters I just want to punch in the face because they're being dumb. I deal with dumb people I want to punch in the face often enough in real life, I don't really need to watch them on TV.
"V" on ABC
