I tend to consider my Sundays successful if I can stay in pajamas for the whole day. I will go out of my way to push errands onto Saturday or Monday to ensure that I can spend Sunday being a hermit. I use it as an opportunity to focus my energy on all the things I need to do that don't involve leaving the house. It's not my fault that my house just happens to have my bed in it, and that as I'm being totally responsible and productive it just sits there, reminding me of the nap I could be taking. Especially considering that I wouldn't even have to change, because I'm already in pajamas. I don't start out planning to be especially lazy, but that's how it usually ends up. And I'm cool with that. Here's what's on TV tonight:
7:00pm: "60 Minutes" on CBS
"Dateline: NBC" on NBC
"Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom" on Animal Planet
"Riverworld" on SyFy. Original mini-series, part one of two. I swear I saw commercials for this like, a year ago, they're only now airing it? Weird.
"'Til Death" on Fox
8:00pm: "Beauty and the Briefcase" on ABC Family. Original Telefilm. Oh, Hilary Duff, I'm glad the Disney didn't get it's claws into you the way it did to Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and the other lost girls, but I'm kind of sad that you ended up here.
"The 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards" on CBS. Three hour special presentation.
"Life: Plants" on Discovery
"Minute to Win It" on NBC
"The Simpsons" on Fox
"Sunday Best" on BET
"Accidental Fortune: Episode 2". One hour special presentation.
9:00pm: "The Apprentice" on NBC
"Brandy and Ray J" on VH1
"Holmes on Homes" on HGTV
"Life: Primates" on Discover
"Masterpiece!: Small Island (Part One)" on PBS
"The Pacific" on HBO
"Riverworld" on Syfy. Part two of two.
"The Tudors" on Showtime
9:30pm: "American Dad" on Fox
"Gene Simmons Family Jewels" on A&E
10:00pm: "Army Wives" on Lifetime
"Ax Men" on History. Third season finale.
"Basketball Wives" on VH1
"Breaking Bad" on AMC
"Hoarding: Buried Alive" on TLC
"Kirstie Alley's Big Life" on A&E
"Life: The Making of Life" on Discovery. First season finale. There was a making of "Life"? I thought it was mostly B-Roll from "Planet Earth". I'm sorry, that's mean, but I just haven't been as impressed with "Life" as I was with "Planet Earth". Maybe it's Oprah's fault.
"Treme" on HBO
"Brothers and Sisters" on ABC. Officially starts at 10:01pm.
