The Pajiban in the Background

Because Pajiba After Dark doesn't run on Friday, I'm going to highlight the season finale of "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" tonight. Specifically, that it's going to be the last episode for a very long time, since star Andy Whitfield was recently diagnosed with lymphoma and production has been suspended so he can undergo treatment. They're talking about a prequel, which would be awesome because there's a lot of background that could be covered. Doctore's time as a gladiator, how Crixus came to be champion of Capua, Barca and Pietros's relationship and more of Batiatus and Lucretia who are the sweetest and most terrifying couple on television. And of course, we should all wish Andy Whitfield a speedy recovery so we can get back to "Spartacus" in all it's scheming, bloody, and naked glory. As for things that will actually be on TV tonight, see below:

8:00 p.m.: "Bones" on Fox. For all you Pajibans who don't regularly watch "Bones", you should tonight because Prisco is in this episode. DO IT! Godtopus demands it of you.

"Flash Forward" on ABC.

"Survivor" on CBS.

"The Vampire Diaries" on The CW.

9:00 p.m.: "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" on CBS.

"Fringe" on Fox.

"Saturday Night Live: Saturday Night Live in the 2000s: TIme and Again" on NBC. Two hour special presentation. Because fans of "The Office", "30 Rock," "Community," and "Parks and Rec" are totally willing to forgo new episodes of their favorite shows so they can watch recycled clips that, by and large, weren't funny in the first place and now aren't funny and are dated. Smooth move, NBC.

"Supernatural" on The CW. 100th episode.

10:00 p.m.: "Ace of Cakes" on Food Network.

"Celebrity Rehab Presents: Sober House" on VH1.

"LA Ink" on TLC.

"Project Runway: Finale Part 1" on Lifetime.

"Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew" on MTV. One hour special presentation.

"The Real Housewives of New York City" on Bravo.

Late Night Listings:

"The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" on NBC, featuring Kate Gosselin and Kenny Chesney.

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" on ABC featuring David Duchovny, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and Spoon.

"The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson" on CBS featuring Kirstie Alley and Sade.

"Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" on NBC featuring Chris Rock, Emma Stone, and The Unseen.

"Last Call With Carson Daly" on NBC featuring Jon Seda and She & Him.

"The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" on Comedy Central featuring Tracy Morgan.

"The Colbert Report" on Comedy Central featuring Aimee Mullins.
