I Will Live With You. In a Big House, With Big Gates to Keep People Like This Out.
Some of you know the big news on TV tonight already because figgy has taken it as a personal affront and has started a one woman campaign against "Glee" and "Lost" being in direct competition with each other. I'm just glad that "Glee" is back and will point out that "Glee" has yet to meander pointlessly through seasons before naming an arbitrary end point and deciding to maybe kind of start answering some questions, sort of. I'm not terribly impressed with "Lost" because it's a lot easier to throw a bunch of balls in the air than it is to catch them, and from what I understand a lot of people are still waiting for those catches. On the other hand, I've never heard of "Lost" doing a fake pregnancy plot line, so point to the magical time shifting island of doom there. Here's all of Tuesday night's options:
8:00pm: "90210" on The CW
"American Idol: Top 8 Perform" on Fox. New 90 minute episode.
"The Biggest Loser" on NBC
"Dancing With the Stars" on ABC
"Nova: Hunting the Edge of Space: The Ever Expanding Universe" on PBS
9:00pm: "19 Kids and Counting" on TLC
"Deadliest Catch" on Discovery. Sixth season premiere. I'm pretty sure this is the last season with Captain Phil of the Cornelia Marie who passed away this spring, so if you're a fan of him you should tune in.
"Frontline: Obama's Deal" on PBS
"Lost" on ABC
"Melrose Place" on The CW. First season finale.
"Survivors" on BBCA
9:28pm: "Glee" on Fox. Returns from hiatus at a special time. Because god knows that "American Idol" needs that full 88 minutes.
10:00pm: "16 and Pregnant" on MTV
"The Big Gay Sketch Show" on Logo. Third season premiere. Way to just put it all out there for us like that, Logo.
"Construction Intervention" on Discovery. Series premiere. The promos for this are like a game of New York City Stereotype Bingo. You could probably build a drinking game for this show around that same concept. I'll get you started; the establishment being renovated is called "The Blarney Stone". Go!
"Independent Lens: Blessed is the Match" on PBS
"Justified" on FX
"Law and Order: Criminal Intent" on USA
"Little Chocolatiers" on TLC
"Millionaire Matchmaker" on Bravo. Third season finale.
"Parenthood" on NBC
"Tiny and Toya" on BET. Second season premiere.
"V" on ABC. Official start time is 10:02pm.
Late Night Listings:
"The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on NBC featuring Nicholas Cage, Lisa Lampanelli, and Lady Antebellum
"Jimmy Kimmel Live" on ABC featuring Zoe Saldana, Balthazar Getty, the latest "Dancing with the Stars" castoff, and Them Crooked Vultures
"The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" on CBS featuring James Marsden and Charlyne Yi
"Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" on NBC featuring Kelly Ripa, Eric Stonestreet and The Specials
"Last Call with Carson Daly" on NBC featuring Olivia Munn and La Roux
"The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" on Comedy Central featuring Rachel Maddow
"The Colbert Report" on Comedy Central featuring Jon Mooallem
