Misery Monday is back in full force tonight, which should be cause for celebration for all the Pajibettes who watch that two hour block of train wreck. I’ve watched both shows and overall I find “Intervention” sad and frustrating and “Hoarders” flat out terrifying. I keep watching “Hoarders,” though, because it inspires me to stay on top of my housekeeping. It’s also the first day of March which means I’m supposed to be saying something about lions and lambs but I never really got that saying and just thought that putting lions and lambs together in any context sounded like a really good way to end up with no lambs and a fatter lion. Here’s your Monday night TV:

8:00 p.m.: “Antiques Roadshow” on PBS.

“The Bachelor” on ABC. 14th season finale.

“Paralyzed and Pregnant With Twins” on Health.

“How I Met Your Mother” on CBS.

“The International Sexy Ladies Show” on G4. Um… what? Like a car show? Only with sexy ladies? Don’t car shows have sexy ladies already? I’M SO CONFUSED!

“Little Parents, First Baby” on TLC. Series premiere.

“The Secret Life of the American Teenager” on ABC Family.

8:30 p.m.: “Little Parents, First Baby” on TLC.

“Rules of Engagement” on CBS. Fourth season premiere.

9:00 p.m.: “24” on Fox.

“Celebrity Fit Club” on VH1.

“Intervention” on A&E.

“Law and Order” on NBC. Two episodes back to back at a special time.

“Life Unexpected” on the CW.

“Make It or Break It” on ABC Family.

“Operation Repo” on TruTV.

“Dolley Madison: American Experience” on PBS.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” on Logo.

“Two and a Half Men” on CBS. I love listing this show because Charlie Sheen’s current string of Crazy all but ensures that it won’t be on the air much longer. If the world is a just place.

“Ultimate Cake Off” on TLC. New time slot.

9:30 p.m.: “The Big Bang Theory” on CBS.

“Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations” on Travel. This week he’s in Ecuador.

“The Real Housewives Top 25: The Early Years” on Bravo. I have no clue what this might be about and do not care to find out.

“The Buried Life” on MTV.

“CSI: Miami” on CBS.

“Damages” on FX.

“Fantasia For Real” on VH1.

“Greek” on ABC Family.

“Hoarders” on A&E.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked” on Logo.

“Secret Diary of a Call Girl” on Showtime.

“The Bachelor: After the Finale Rose” on ABC. One hour presentation that technically starts at 10:05 p.m. In case anyone cares.

10:30 p.m.: “Be Good Johnny Weir” on Sundance. The fact that this show exists makes me so very sad that I don’t get Sundance channel. HOWEVER, Mr. Weir tweeted (I hate myself) that he will be on Larry King tonight for all his other fans out there in Pajibaland. You know who you are.

I know Johnny Weir totally ruined the manly sport of figure skating for everyone. And that's all I know about the Olympics. By his mere presence I bet he collaterally gayed up other sports at the games too. Which explains all the Canadian gold medals.

I kid, Canada, I kid.

Paralyzed and Pregnant With Twins

Oh that just sounds tragic and horrible. Damn you, TLC.

Posted by: figgy at March 1, 2010 7:44 PM

Even though Johnny Weir is obvs. gayer than purple snow, I would SO BE ALL OVER THAT given half a chance. The glitter and fringe just makes him more irresistible.

Posted by: Jerce at March 1, 2010 7:46 PM

Oh, Jerce, I know exactly what you mean. The only reason I didn't use a shirtless picture of Mr.Weir is because I couldn't find one that was the right shape.

Nothing I love more than a confident man and Johnny Weir is certainly confident. So what if that means he's confidently sashaying around in heels with a full length fur coat and curled eyelashes?

Chuuuuuuuuuck, coooooooooome baaaaaaaack.

No Chuck?

Now I've got nothing to look forward to. Fuck.

UMMM HELLOOOOOOO JAY LENO IS BACK ON TONIGHT ARE WE NOT ALL GOING TO TIVO AND WORSHIP THE RETURN OF THE MESSIAH!

"Paralyzed and Pregnant With Twins." I mean. The escalation in reality television exploitation is getting to the point that the well is going to have to run dry at some point.... isn't it? What is left?
"95 Year Old Paranoid Schizophrenic Homeless People in Siberia"
"Fear Factor: PTSD Riddled Iraq Veterans Edition"
"A&E Presents: Eunuchs"
"Stabbed in the Face When You Have No Legs"

Posted by: sheshakes at March 1, 2010 9:05 PM

"Taking the SAT's while being mauled by a cougar in the back of a speeding VW Microbus!"
"Mis-placed Redneck with Confederate flag tattoo gets lost in the hood!"

or my favorite:

"Law & Order: Quadrapalegic Assualted Veteran's Victims Who's Homes Have Been Seized By Emminent Domain Unit".

p.s. I heard Lysecek was dating that cute little Russian-American gymanist from the Chinese Olympics. Assuming she's grown past 4 foot 10, good for him.

Sheshakes, hilarious.

I actually like Rules of Engagement

Posted by: arrrghzi at March 1, 2010 9:45 PM

I would probably watch "Stabbed in the Face When You Have No Legs". I assume you'd have to use your hands for mobility while going for help but then how do you apply pressure to the wound?

It's a problem. Conflict makes good TV people.

Posted by: becks at March 1, 2010 9:51 PM

NO, sailboat. Chuck IS back! Chuck loves us! Chuck will never leave us again! Chuck will stay with us forever and will love us like we're meant to be loved. Because we're special, and Chuck knows it.

Saddest--SADDEST--episode of Hoarders ever. I have a hole where my heart used to be, and it's filled with lots of :-('s.

Posted by: Lindsay at March 1, 2010 11:11 PM

Who was it who said recently that TLC should just give it up and be called the "Breeders and Midgets Channel?" I want to applaud them AGAIN.

It's so true.

Anyway, yeah Misery Night pretty much makes our week. Intervention was awesome, Hoarders was awesome, what a great Monday!

esme, you beautiful bastard!

i can feel the love beaming at me in glorious high definition.

Posted by: sailboat at March 1, 2010 11:38 PM

Trust me, you never ever want to watch the International Sexy Ladies show. Not even the most desperate of hormonal 12 year olds would get much out of that show. *shudder*

Also, I wish I had the Sundance channel.

Late to the party, I know.

I've seen Johnny Weir's reality show and it isn't bad. Not as racy as you would think.

It's a shame he's gay because he has the cutest little ass, I swear. Perfectly tanned and everything.
