I Will Take Any Excuse to Post Riggins Pictures

This week is really dragging for me for reasons I’m not entirely sure about. Well, I know part of the reason is that I’m waiting on a delivery that should be happening today that you’ll all be sure to hear about if I do get it on time. Other than that, I suppose it’s just one of those weeks where you get to the end of Tuesday and you’re like “Wait, it was TUESDAY?!? Only?!? I still have three more days to go?” because that’s what I did yesterday. So that’s what’s on my mind, and here’s your Wednesday night TV:

8:00pm: “American Idol” on Fox

“Live to Dance” on CBS. First season finale.

“The Middle” on ABC

“Minute to Win It” on NBC

“Nova: Sciencenow: How Smart are Animals?” on PBS. Kinda broad, yeah? Especially considering that people are animals. I guess they could title it “How Smart are Other Animals” but that’s somewhat less snappy. I’m over thinking this.

8:30pm: “Better With You” on ABC

“Throwdown with Bobby Flay” on Food Network

9:00pm: “Criminal Minds” on CBS

“Friday Night Lights” on DirecTV. Series finale. Break out the tissues, y’all. At least those of you who can actually see it now instead of when it airs on NBC starting on April 15th. Those of you who can actually watch, please don’t tell us about it.

“Ghost Hunters International” on SyFy

“Reagan” on History

“Human Target” on Fox. Second season finale.

“Inside the NFL” on Showtime. 34th season finale.

“Man vs. Food” on Travel

“Modern Family” on ABC

“My Strange Addiction” on TLC

“Nova: Making Stuff Smarter” on PBS

“Operation Repo” on TruTV

“Sons of Guns” on Discovery

9:30pm: “Mr.Sunshine” on ABC. Series premiere. For all of those who have a large, Matthew Perry shaped hole in your television watching.

10:00pm: “Are We There Yet” on TBS

“Blue Bloods” on CBS

“Clean House” on Style

“Desert Car Kings” on Discovery

“Face Off” on SyFy

“I Used to Be Fat” on MTV

“Justified” on FX. Second season premiere. Show of hands, how many of you have been counting the hours to this one? That’s what I thought.

“Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” on NBC

“Miracle Detectives” on OWN

“Nova: Smartest Machine on Earth” on PBS. Oooo, is it gonna be that computer that’s going on “Jeopardy” next week? I bet it is.

“Off the Map” on ABC

“Restaurant: Impossible” on Food Network

“Best of Pride Fighting Championships” on Spike TV

“Toddlers and Tiaras” on TLC

“Top Chef” on Bravo

Late Night Listings

“The Late Show with David Letterman” on CBS featuring Anderson Cooper, Elton John and Leon Russell

“The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on NBC featuring Matt LeBlanc, Clay Matthews, and Ricky Martin

“Jimmy Kimmel Live” on ABC featuring Adam Sandler, Bobby Flay, and Ke$ha. I wasn’t going to type the dollar sign, but then I thought that maybe if I didn’t someone would mistake Ke$ha for some other, non-dollar signed Kesha.

“The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” on CBS featuring Carl Reiner and Cat Cora

“Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on NBC featuring Annette Bening, Nick Swardson, Lee Stroud, and Cowboy Junkies

“Last Call with Carson Daly” on NBC featuring Jon Foster, Adam Anders, and Mini Mansions

“Chelsea Lately” on E featuring James Blunt, Jeff Wild, Ross Matthews, and Gary Valentine

“Conan” on TBS featuring 50 Cent, Chris Elliott, and Ray LaMontagne

I have a huge CJ Cregg-shaped hole in my heart, and I guess Chandler's new show will have to do. Save me, Allison Janney.

Tim Riggins, though a fictional character, is everything that is good in this world.
