Pajiba After Dark: Which One's Royal and Which One's a Pain?
Oh, Thursday, not actually the weekend but about that time in the week when you start getting the weekend feeling. That "What's one more drink?" feeling, the "Hey, it's 11pm which sounds like an awesome time to start a movie!" urge. Because it's all so close you can taste it and it tastes like the weekend and sleeping in even though you know in the back of your mind that you still have to go to work/school the next day. Or some of you do, if you don't I'd really rather not hear about it because I do. However, I do hope you have a fabulous last weekend in February when it makes it way to rolling around and that your Sunday night is entertaining whether or not you're watching the Oscars. I'm sure there's something special going on here but I couldn't for the life of me tell you what it is because I'm the red-headed stepchild of this website. Here's your Thursday night TV:
8:00pm: "American Idol" on Fox. New two hour episodes.
"The Big Bang Theory" on CBS
"Community" on NBC
"The Vampire Diaries" on The CW
"Wipeout: Winter Wipeout" on ABC
8:30pm: "Perfect Couples" on NBC
"Rules of Engagement" on CBS
9:00pm: "CSI: We Shot Justin Bieber To Stay Marginally Relevant" on CBS
"Grey's Anatomy" on ABC
"Thurgood" on HBO
"Man vs. Wild" on Discovery
"Million Dollar Listing" on Bravo
"Nikita" on The CW
"The Office" on NBC
"Police Women of Cincinnati" on TLC
"Royal Pains" on USA. Second season finale. I've watched a few episodes of this and I don't love it or hate it but I find myself bugged by the fact that I have NO CLUE why the show is called "Royal Pains." But USA shows are like that, what with the titles that are only barely related to the show at all.
9:30pm: "Parks and Recreation" on NBC
10:00pm: "30 Rock" on NBC
"Archer" on FX
"Beyond Scared Straight" on A&E. They're going to a prison in Hagerstown, MD so if you enjoy seeing meth-addicted white supremacists yell at teenagers with a poor understanding of English grammar, be sure to tune in!
"Fairly Legal" on USA. See above re: USA titles that are bewildering.
"Jersey Shore" on MTV
"The Mentalist" on CBS
"Out of the Wild" on Discovery
"The This Old House Hour" on PBS
"Babies Behind Bars: Having a Baby in Prison is No Picnic" on TLC. ...pretty sure that's a HUGE understatement, since having a baby ANYWHERE could be described as "no picnic" never mind the added hell of being in prison.
"Private Practice" on ABC
10:30pm: "Outsourced" on NBC
Late Night Listings
"The Late Show with David Letterman" on CBS featuring Sen. Rand Paul and Bright Eyes
"The TOnight Show with Jay Leno" on NBC featuring Meredith Vieira, DJ Pauly D, and Hanson
