As is traditional for this time of year I’m racing to beat a few deadlines, so my intro is going to be brief. I hope all of you had a great weekend, up tonight are a couple finales, a few premieres, but I’m pretty sure there’s a whole bunch of you out there who are far more concerned with the sneak peak of Game of Thrones that’s going to be on HBO, clocking in at a blue ball inducing 15 minutes. For those of you who don’t have HBO or who aren’t caught up enough to watch tonight’s episode of “The Walking Dead”, well, I hope you’ve got something to work on because it’s looking kind of bleak tonight unless you adore trash TV. Here’s your Sunday night:

7:00pm: “60 Minutes” on CBS

“America’s Funniest Home Videos” on ABC

“Football Night in America” on NBC

8:00pm: “The Amazing Race” on CBS

“Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” on ABC

“Jerseylicious” on Style

“On Strike for Christmas” on Lifetime Movie Network. Original telefilm. I swear, even the titles of these get worse as the month goes on.

“The Simpsons” on Fox. I think Katy Perry’s in this one. If any of you care.

“When Vacations Attack” on Travel

8:15pm: “Sunday Night Football: Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens” on NBC

8:30pm: “The Cleveland Show” on Fox

8:45pm: “Inside Game of Thrones” on HBO. 9th season premiere.

9:00pm: “Boardwalk Empire” on HBO. First season finale.

“Bridalplasty” on E

“Desperate Housewives” on ABC

“Dexter” on Showtime

“Gene Simmons Family Jewels” on A&E. Sixth season premiere.

“IRT: Deadliest Roads” on History. First season finale.

“Sarah Palin’s Alaska” on TLC

“Undercover Boss” on CBS

“The USO Presents: VH1 Divas Salute the Troops” on VH1. When you’re describing such pop culture disaster areas as Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry (again!) as “Divas” I’m pretty sure the word has lost all semblance of meaning it once contained, even more so than when they began making pants for middle schoolers with it across the butt in glitter. Though, let’s be honest, they probably didn’t decide to feature Ms.Perry for her singing abilities.

9:30pm: “American Dad” on Fox

“Gene Simmons Family Jewels” on A&E

10:00pm: “Bama Belles” on TLC. Series premiere.

“The Beatles: From Liverpool to San Francisco” on BBCA

“Comedy Central’s Hot List 2010” on Comedy Central

“CSI: Miami” on CBS. 200th episode.

“The Hasselhoffs” on A&E. Series premiere.

“Iron Chef America” on Food Network

“Jilted” on WE

“Kendra” on E

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” on Bravo

“Top Gear” on History

“The Walking Dead” on AMC. First season finale.

“Brothers and Sister” on ABC

Looking forward to Dexter. Although it had a shaky start and a lackluster middle section, the season has really been fantastic over the last three or so episodes. As always, I'm scared and excited to see how all this mess resolves itself.

Live action Katy Perry with Simpsons puppets, plus a Martha Stewart as evil Mary Poppins guest voice is worth the watch. It's a quadrilogy of Simpsons Christmas stories and pretty decent.

Ravens up a TD over Da Steelers, which pleases me, on top of the awesomeness which was the Oakland win earlier today. Huzzah!

Walking Dead and Boardwalk Empire season finales won over the football game.

Katy Perry added nothing to the Simpsons episode. Her deal with the devil must include all the usual "cool" guest spots. Too bad she didn't put a provision in the contract that the spots be good, unlike Jon Hamm.

All in all not a bad Sunday night to have been at work! The Walking Dead was Tivoed anyways.

Isn't it Mrs. Perry?

Man my quality TV is GONE. SofA is done, Walking Dead is done and even Boardwalk Empire, which is just ok, is done.

I may have to READ something.

"Kendra!" vs. old "House" reruns, midnight smackdown in Stately , Manor.

Resolved thusly: First five minutes of "Kendra!" (Hank got cut by the Eagles, but wait! The Vikings picked him up! And Kendra is just a moronic ball of pessimism about the whole thing) until my eyes begin to glaze over and spittle begins to drool down my chin and I start to snore even though I am sorta still awake, and then: 55 minutes of "House," skipping the diesease-of-the-week setup, which is never what the show's about anyway.

Win-win!
