Who's Got Mistletoe?
Because I am given to a somewhat introspective and thoughtful nature (which some individuals refer to as "thinking too much") I occasionally become fixated on things other people don't notice. Lately, it's been the fact that on both the pop-R&B/hip hop station and the "80's, 90's, and today!" station here in Miami, the most frequent commercials are for plastic surgery centers or attorney referral services. On the surface, these two would seem to be unrelated but if you look a little deeper... ok, they're still mostly unrelated, but I'm still trying to figure out what cross section of the population has the money to be shopping around for a nose job and boob lift, but still needs to have the number for lawyers specializing in what amounts to ambulance chasing on speed dial. On that completely unrelated note, here's your Tuesday night TV:
8:00pm: "Minute to Win it" on NBC
"NCIS" on CBS
"Three Wise Women" on Hallmark. Original telefilm.
9:00pm: "The Biggest Loser" on NBC. 10th season finale.
"Dirty Jobs" on Discovery. Shockingly, it's a holiday special. I'm better there's more than a few of you ladies who'd like to show Mr.Rowe a very special holiday, if you know what I mean.
"Third Reich: The Rise" on History. Two hour special presentation. I thought it'd been a while since we heard about the Nazis on the History channel. No time like Christmas!
"Millionaire Matchmaker" on Bravo
"Mysteries at the Museum" on Travel
"NCIS: Los Angeles" on CBS
"Ramsay's Best Restaurant" on BBCA
9:30pm: "Billy the Exterminator" on A&E
10:00pm: "16 and Pregnant" on MTV. I saw just today that one of these girls (I don't watch the show and they all kind of look the same to me so I can't tell you which one) is currently pregnant again. Because I guess she thought it was like chicken pox and once it happened it wouldn't happen to her again? You would think that one accidental pregnancy would give the individual in question a rather firm grip on the cause/effect relationship there, but no one ever went broke underestimating the American people and all that.
"Auction Hunters" on SpikeTV
"Auction Kings" on Discovery
"Gordon Ramsay's Ultimate Christmas" on BBCA
"The Fashion Show" on Bravo
"Glory Daze" on TBS
"The Good Wife" on CBS

"America's Septuplets Turn 13" on TLC
