Less Impressive Than Imagined
I won't be home watching TV tonight because I'll be out at American Airlines Arena trying to get Wade, Bosh, and LeBron to sign my cast. (Not really.) (Ok, I will be there and it'll be cool if they did, but I'm not counting on it. Wouldn't want to take valuable time away from their efforts at being underwhelming.) I'm kind of glad though because there's a whole lot of not very good happening tonight in TV land, at least as far as I'm concerned. Maybe some of you can help steer me in the right direction with regards to some of the shows below. Here's your Tuesday night TV:
8:00pm: "The Biggest Loser" on NBC
"Life Unexpected" on The CW
"NCIS" on CBS
"No Ordinary Family" on ABC
"Pioneers of Television" on PBS
9:00pm: "Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern" on Travel. Sixth season premiere. The grown up version of that game at the lunch table where you dumped all your leftovers on one tray and paid some kid a dollar to eat them.
"Cupcake Wars" on Food Network
"Dirty Jobs" on Discovery
"Frontline" on PBS
"NCIS: Los Angeles" on CBS
"Ramsay's Best Restaurant" on BBCA
"V" on ABC
"What Not to Wear" on TLC. Hey! I bet they recommend separate pieces that are "coordinated" but not "matchy-matchy."
"Million Dollar Money Drop" on Fox
10:00pm: "20/20" on ABC. It's called "The Congresswoman and the Astronaut: An American Story of Love and Strength" so the lesson here is that it takes about a week for the media to scramble their resources to create an exploitative documentary. Good to know.
"Auction Kings" on Discovery
"Chopped" on Food Network"
"The Fashion Show" on Bravo
"The Game" on BET
"The Good Wife" on CBS
"Hardcore Pawn" on TruTV
"Lights Out" on FX
"Parenthood" on NBC
"Southland" on TNT
"Teen Mom" on MTV
"Tosh.0" on Comedy Central
"White Collar" on USA. Second season premiere.
10:30pm: "Onion Sportsdome" on Comedy Central
Late Night Listings
"The Late Show with David Letterman" on CBS featuring Betty While, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, and the Script
"The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on NBC featuring Ashton Kutcher, Aubrey Plaza, and Neon Trees
"Jimmy Kimmel Live" on ABC featuring Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lawrence, and Andrew Norelli
"The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" on CBS featuring Larry King and Shannon Woodward
"Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" on NBC featuring Steven Tyler, Olivia Munn, and Two Door Cinema Club
"The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" on Comedy Central featuring Neil deGrasse Tyson
