A Light Is Waiting to Carry You Home
Television’s an interesting mix tonight; most of you are probably tuning into the extra jumbo sized season finale of “Sons of Anarchy” but for any of you out there who aren’t watching it, the tide of shitty Christmas specials is going strong and there’s something involving some chicks in fancy underwear. And Bob Saget has a new show because apparently what the world has been waiting for is more Danny Tanner in their television lives. Actually, since Uncle Jesse is also back on “Glee” we’ve only got another five cast members to go before the whole “Full House” crew gets back on TV, but since at least one of them is a meth addict, two are fashion victims of the highest order, and DJ has disappeared from any radar I’m aware of, I don’t see that happening soon. And that’s your dose of 90’s sitcom nostalgia for the day. Here’s your Tuesday night TV:
8:00pm: “Glee” on Fox
“The Real Story of Christmas” on History. I’m betting it involves the solstice and pagans!
“Christmas in Rockefeller Center” on NBC
“One Tree Hill” on The CW
“Brain Fitness: Peak Performance” on PBS
9:00pm: “19 Kids and Counting” on TLC. Fourth season finale.
“The Bad Girls Club: Top 10 OMGs” on Oxygen.
“The Biggest Loser” on NBC. New time slot, for those of you who will need to adjust your DVRs to catch every jiggly, overly dramatized moment.
“Dirty Jobs” on Discovery
“In Treatment” on HBO
“Life Unexpected” on The CW
“Millionaire Matchmaker” on Bravo
“No Ordinary Family” on ABC. New time slot.
“Private Chefs of Beverly Hills” on Food Network. Second season finale.
“River Monsters” on Animal Planet
“Stargate Universe” on SyFy
“Raising Hope” on Fox
9:30pm: “Billy the Exterminator” on A&E
“In Treatment” on HBO
“Dr.Lori Mosca’s 3 Keys to Heart Health” on PBS
“Running Wilde” on Fox
10:00pm: “16 and Pregnant” on MTV
“Auction Hunters” on SpikeTV
“Auction Kings” on Discovery
“Being Terry Kennedy” on BET
“The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” on CBS. I’ve heard that the work outs the models get put through so they can saunter down the runway in stilettos while wearing forty pound wings is pretty brutal. Not nearly as brutal as being forced to do it to the musical stylings of Katy Perry though. Ladies, my thoughts are with you.
“Detroit 187” on ABC
“The Fashion Show” on Bravo
“Glory Daze” on TBS
“The Little Couple” on TLC
“Running Russell Simmons” on Oxygen
“Sons of Anarchy” on FX. 90 minute third season finale.
“Strange Days with Bob Saget” on A&E. Series premiere. A&E is really becoming the network for former C-list stars looking for new projects, huh?
“Party Heat: Texas” on TruTV
Late Night Listings
“The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on NBC featuring Chelsea Handler, Kellan Lutz, and Rod Stewart
“Jimmy Kimmel Live” on ABC featuring Magic Johnson, Autumn Reeser, and Miguel
“The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” on CBS featuring D.J Qualls and Salman Rushdie
“The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” on Comedy Central featuring Susan Casey
“The Colbert Report” on Comedy Central featuring Tom Vilsack
