I've Got a Wonderful, Awful Idea
We've hit the time of year when the Christmas marketing really gets into full swing. Some of it actually started before Halloween, which I consider an abomination. And I don't even really dislike it because it's fantastically materialistic, geared towards an "American Dream" pushed by corporations that your life will get better if you just have more stuff or that it's appallingly Christian-centric. I mean, I do dislike it for all those reasons, but the biggest one is this; if you spend two months planning for and anticipating one day there's no way you won't be let down. I'm doing my best to ignore all of it and not making Christmas plans until after Thanksgiving as... well, probably not as God intended, but it's the way I prefer to do things anyway. Here's your Monday night TV:
8:00pm: "90210" on The CW
"Chuck" on NBC. You know what's cool about "Chuck"? Fans helped save it from cancellation. You can do the same for "Terriers" if you email firstname.lastname@example.org with your support. (Yes, I will keep mentioning this until we hear one way or the other.)
"Dancing With the Stars" on ABC. New 90 minute episode. I don't watch this, but I'm seeing murmurs around the internet that Palin-Spawn (let's be honest, it's not anymore ridiculous than her actual name) may actually win. So, you know, good luck to her. I don't envy that girl much, given what she has for a mother.
"Little People, Big World" on TLC
"WWE: RAW" on USA. New three hour episode at a special time.
8:30pm: "Little People, Big World" on TLC
"Monday Night Football: Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Redskins" on ESPN

9:30pm: "In Treatment" on HBO

10:00pm: "The A-List: New York" on Logo
"Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It" on VH1. While I was scanning the listings, my eyes briefly meshed "The A-List" and "Bret Michaels" and I was already planning my little "In what universe is Bret Michaels A-List material?" rant when I realized my mistake. Still, interesting crossover potential there. I think. Not really, I just want it to happen now because I already thought about it a bit and it could be kind of funny.
