It's Calling My Name
Thursday night is always a bit of a debate for me. For one there’s a lot of television on that I either watch despite my better instincts or which is actually worth watching AND there are also frequently “college night” drink specials available at a wide variety of local establishments near my University BUT Friday morning is my earliest morning of the week. It’s unfair, and a moral struggle every week between being a responsible student or giving into the lure of fun, cheap alcohol, and watching the 19 year olds who just got a good enough fake to get past the bouncer try to hold their liquor. Over the course of the semester I’d say it ends up splitting 50/50 but I tend not to keep close track. Here’s the TV you can watch while I struggle with this heavy and terrible important issue:
7:30pm: “Fox Sports Special: Major League Baseball - NLCS Game #5” on Fox
8:00pm: “The Big Bang Theory” on CBS
“Community” on NBC
“The This Old House Hour” on PBS
“The Vampire Diaries” on The CW. There’s a few of you on Facebook who are absolutely NUTS about this show and it’s making me curious. Is it just the hot men or is it actually a good show?
8:30pm: “30 Rock” on NBC
“Twat My Dad Says” on CBS
9:00pm: “Clash of the Tiger Queens” on Animal Planet
“Nightmare on Elm Street: The Inside Story - Part 2” on Bio
“Night of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Concert for Autism Education” on Comedy Central. This looks like it could be kind of fun, but also like it’s going to be rerun about a billion times in the next few weeks so I don’t feel a pressing need to watch it tonight. Have to keep this space free for all the other terrible television I plan on watching.
“CSI: A New Hope” on CBS
“Destination Truth” on SyFy
“The First 48” on A&E
“Grey’s Anatomy” on ABC
“Lottery Changed My Life” on TLC
“Nikita” on The CW
“The Office” on NBC
“Project Runway” on Lifetime. It’s part one of the finale, so expect Figgy to pop from excitement. Just kidding, she’ll just hop around like a Honduran jumping bean. Or jumping Fig. Muchos besos!
“The Real Housewives of DC” on Bravo. Reunion special.
“Thursday Night College Football: UCLA at Oregon” on ESPN
9:30pm: “Outsourced” on NBC
10:00pm: “The Apprentice” on NBC
“The First 48: After the First 4” on A&E
“Food Feuds” on Food Network
“Ghost Lab” on Discovery
“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” on FX
“Jersey Shore” on MTV. Second season finale. FINALLY. Now, when do those frequently referenced 15 minutes run out?
“The Mentalist” on CBS
“William Kentridge: Anything is Possible” on PBS
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” on Bravo
“Private Practice” on ABC
10:30pm: “The League” on FX
“On the Road with Austin and Santino” on Lifetime. First season finale.
Late Night Listings
“Jimmy Kimmel Live” on ABC featuring Clint Eastwood and Rod Stewart
“Chelsea Lately” on E! featuring Jenny McCarthy, Guy Branum, Josh Wolf and Jeff Wild
