Stupid Social Life

Oh Wednesday, you cruel temptress. While I’m helping to host a concert on campus, there is a lot of amazing television happening. Looks like I’m going to be spending some free time tomorrow on Hulu catching up.

8:00pm: “America’s Next Top Model” on the CW.

“I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant” on TLC, which is a show that haunts my nightmares. Even more so when I see an episode titled “Is That A Baby In Your Pants?”

“So You Think You Can Dance” on Fox.

8:30pm: “The Middle” on ABC.

9:00pm: “Criminal Minds” on CBS (Full confession: I will watch hours of this show when it re-runs on A&E, even though I don’t watch it “live.” What can I say, Matthew Gray Gubler and Shemar Moore are nice to look at).

“Glee” on Fox.

“Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” on NBC.

“Mythbusters” on Discovery.

“Modern Family” on ABC.

10:00pm: “Top Chef” on Bravo, and it’s restaurant wars night.

“Nip/Tuck” on FX.

“Real World/ Road Rules Challenge” on MTV.

“South Park” on Comedy Central.

Also, those who care are probably already aware of this, but thanks to the West Coast snafu, Adult Swim is re-running the season 4 premiere of The Venture Brothers at 12:30am this week until Thursday, so that’s tonight and tomorrow left.

Intern Rusty is a Masters student at the University of Miami. She currently has four jobs and receives a regular paycheck from 50% of them. You can read about how she’s handling all this over at Rusty’s Ventures. If you spoil Glee or Top Chef for her, she will come through your computer to bitch slap you.

Thanks for the heads-up on the Ventures reruns.

I watched it online last night, but would still prefer to see it unblurred and without the dropped frames (my internet connection sucks sometimes).

PS. I had to watch it twice to figure out what was going on, once I had the CGC thing in context to put some timeline on things.

Restaurant Wars! Woooo!

It's always the most exciting episode. Even though in Season 3 Tre got kicked off on restaurant wars. Still my favorite contestant to this day.

“Is That A Baby In Your Pants?”

I think I need to watch that episode. The concept of the show terrifies me, but that title is cracking me up.

I contend that Criminal Minds is not NCIS, CSI, etc. and is a damn good show. I thought it would die after Mandy Patinkin left, but Joey Zasa has done a great job.

I can't wait to see tonight's episode of my new addiction, Modern Family. That show is funny as hell.

I like Criminal Minds, I started watching because of Mandy Patinkin, but continued to watch because of Shemar Moore.

Tonight is homework night, I have mid terms this week, so my TV watching is on hold until I call in to work sick on Friday.

I'm a Restaurant Wars virgin.

Oh my God, the Schue can dance like a mad man! I love it! I wanna have his pretend baby too!!

Posted by: NotesOnMyBathroomMirror at October 21, 2009 9:13 PM

Well Paget Brewster is also nice to look at. A little bit of that Krister Eykel magic.

Posted by: Jay at October 21, 2009 9:31 PM

Kristen, even.

ILOVETHISEPISODEOFGLEESOMUCH.

Thank you.

The Schuster can DANCE. WOO!

OMGAVBWHYDON'TYOUJUSTMARRYITTHEN?!?!

Posted by: gp at October 21, 2009 10:13 PM

OK Puck is now my favorite character.

Posted by: figgy at October 21, 2009 10:20 PM

figgy, right? And Emma can sing!! And Puck is hot. But I already knew that.

Someday, gp my friend. Someday I'll be free to marry my true love. But not in this country of oppression and the denial of my basic human right TO LOVE AND BE LOVED.

Posted by: Anna von Beaverpuppet at October 21, 2009 10:20 PM

preachin' to the choir, sister.

Posted by: gp at October 21, 2009 10:22 PM

Remember, bros before Heigh-Hos, people.

Posted by: MelBivDevoe at October 21, 2009 10:27 PM

Oh come on!!! "I could've danced all night"?! It's like they just WANT to completely fucking slay me with the awesome.

AAAH!

Posted by: figgy at October 21, 2009 10:38 PM

Drake, it also took me two viewings to realize that Brock's story moves forward while the Venture family moves backwards. I knew to look at Hank's hair the first time, but knowing what CGC stands for is good too.

As for the rest of you… I'll see it tomorrow. And yes, Jay, Paget Brewster is a pretty lady.

Posted by: Intern Rusty at October 22, 2009 1:25 AM

Damn it! I want see Glee now!

Why do I have to live in stupid Australia where it won't be screened for weeks?!

Wait! The Internet! The Internet will save me!

Posted by: Daniel Hall at October 22, 2009 1:52 AM

Glee was all kinds of awesome tonight. Ditto for Puck being hot.

Are you questioning my badassness? Have you seen these guns!?!

That's why I got the tiger tattooed on my back

Wanna make out? OK

When I woke up I knew it was more than a dream. It was a message from God. Rachel was a hot jew and the good lord wanted me to get into her pants.

Every time I think of Puck's sister screaming I laugh. His cover of "Sweet Caroline" was the best boy song yet.

Also an all Madonna episode next season and Adam Lambert playing a role (fingers crossed a Kurt episode) next season. OMG yay!

Restaurant wars! I was not expecting what happened in that epi at all.

Bros before heigh hos, LOL

Posted by: Mebe at October 22, 2009 2:42 AM

No No No to Rachel and Puck. He is no good for her.

My sister and I are fair convinced that Paget Thomas should hook up and have little gothy babies. With like INCREDIBLY INTENSE EYES.

I miss Mandy on CM. I feel like Joe Mantegna had a stroke and didn't tell any body. I know he's always had...sort of a palsy on one side of his face, but now I really think he had a stroke and just....didn't noticed.

The GOOB is quite simply AWESOME.
Shemar is....well he's good looking.

Who cares!!! My boyfriend also agrees with me. He is 10 years older than me, lol. We met online at age-gap club -- http://AgelessOnly.COM/. Maybe you wanna check out or tell your friends.
