Pajiba 10 For Your Consideration: Chris Evans
For the man who would play Captain America, we needed someone who could give us that wholesome, apple-pie thing we’re so fond of — but who we could also accept as a serious(ly sexy) hero. Not many people could wear that mask. Even fewer people could start out so scrawny (effects or not) and later emerge as the hero we were looking for; for this we needed a very particular man. Chris Evans has the gift of being handsome with humility; he doesn’t take himself too seriously. There’s a twinkle in his eye, an underlying smirk, and a playful goofiness that makes him feel approachable. And yet clearly, there’s nothing ordinary about him. Have a look…and do try not to drool over your keyboard.
He’s equally adept at portraying happy,
Looks great with long-ish hair and a little smirk…
or short hair and a bright smile (and hey, those glasses ain’t bad either):
He can pull off steely intensity,
and goofy, half-naked apple-eating — if that’s your thing. I think that’s my thing:
He has good babysitting skills…
And he doesn’t mind showing affection in public:
He looks good in uniform…
or less — if that’s your thing. I think that’s my thing:
He seems to enjoy physical activity…
And he’s got an intellectual side — look, he reads the paper!
What else can I say to convince you?
Oh yeah, dat ass:
But just in case you need a leetle something to push you over the edge:
Shhh…you’ll be okay. Go have a rest in your bunk…
