The problem with old white guys is that they all look the same. And if you don’t believe me, take this quiz, which will test your knowledge of four old white guys in particular. I created the damn quiz, and I doubt I’d do particularly well at it.

So test your knowledge of old white guys. Do you have what it takes to identify the right geriatric? And before the quiz, I’ll even help you out by providing pictures of each of the four individuals.

2. OK I really thought this was Albert Finney but I KNOW he's #4. Is it Brian Cox? Dude looks so much like Albert Finney in that photo.

2. Brian Motherefin Cox! Men should wear vests. Brian looks great. Why are 3 piece suits rare? Men look great in them. Look at Mr. Cox! And then there is JGL. He looks really good in a 3 piece.

My problem wasn't with who was who, but that I haven't seen any of the movies listed in the quiz, except for Cocoon and all the old farts in that movie were old. Even Steve Guttenberg.

I'm proud to say I recognize every one of those great actors and I'd rather watch any of them in a movie rather than some twentysomething turd in a t-shirt who can't project his voice to save his life. By the way, I'm 39 so I consider myself objective in favoring one group over the other, being halfway between.

I did not recognize that picture of George C. Scott at all, but I did identify the other three from the photos. He looks odd with the beard. That 12 Angry Men remake was actually pretty good if you haven't seen it.

This is actually kind of funny because my dad and I were talking about Super Troopers yesterday (he's never seen it) and I was trying to tell him the only person he'd probably know in it was Brian Cox. But I couldn't actually place Brian Cox's name, I just wanted to say Brian Dennehy and I knew it wasn't right so I was just basically like "you know! One of those old white guys that's in everything." So basically I present my pointless story to say thanks for solving that for me (and get out of my head!).
