Kitty's Got Claws: Colbert Creates A Fake Twitter Hype Machine For Fox News

Like most giant evil conglomerates, Fox News has a 24-hour PR machine, and an integral part of that ever-churning machine is the thousands of fake commenter accounts all over the internet ready to step up and defend Fox News at the slightest whiff of negative coverage. Big Todd? Is that you? Stephen Colbert, rabid and sincere advocate for Fox News that he is, decided to join the fun and set up a fake Twitter account that takes Rotten Tomatoes film reviews and replaces the names of the film or performers with Fox News shows and showmen.

Check out their fine handiwork:

This was AWESOME. Colbert is getting more and more perspicaciously subversive with each week, it seems.

I agree. I think since his mother died, he has found a new will to subvert and make more waves.

"satisfying in ways that more than compensate for FOX News's soft ending."

Did he just call Fox News a limp dick? These tweets made me chuckle with glee. And a bit of meanspirit. But just a bit.

  • e jerry powell

If he didn't, I damn sure did.
