No, no, it’s not Jaimie Alexander. Though she is wonderful, and I fully support that unsubstantiated rumor that she could be playing Wonder Woman in the near future.

But we’re here to talk about something smaller than your typical Norse warrior. Much, much smaller. Last year, this little moppet went as “Tiny Princess Captain America.”

This year her aunt made her something a little bit more smashing. Sorry, Loki, you just got Hulk punched by the cuteness of this little Asgardian.

Sure, she's cute and all, but can she open a $200 million dollar movie?

    Yeah, I didn't think so.

  • Maguita NYC

Yeah, but can he rock metallic cap sleeves and a multi-layered skirt like she does?

    I didn't think so.

  • Uriah_Creep

Hiddleston could, absolutely. He's just that fabulous.

  • Maguita NYC

Hiddlestone is the exception. It isn't fair to compare anyone to Hiddlestone, let alone an innocent little girl.

    Shame on you heartless U_C.

  • Uriah_Creep

Well, you've got me there. I had my heart removed because it was causing me to feel "empathy" and shit. I do have it in a box, though, so technically, I still have a heart. I can send it to you if you want proof.

  • Maguita NYC

I'd like that! I know a few someones who are lacking in empathy and would greatly profit from a socialist heart such as yours! :D

  • Bodhi

I'm having a girl in March & THIS is how I want to raise her. No Disney princesses for us! Unless she insists. Blech

  • Maguita NYC

    Congratulations Bodhi!

  • Bodhi

Thank you! She was a surprise, but we are excited :-)

  • emmalita

Congratulations and have fun. Be careful of planning to keep out the pink. The more you don't want it, the more they insist. But it all works out. My niece lives in princess dresses, and she is a terrifying warrior. What she can't get with her big hazel eyes, she will take with tooth, claw, and nerve-shattering screams.

  • melissa82

And now I want to watch Adventures in Babysitting.

  • Kid better watch out - Hiddleston will find her, he will knock her over, and he will apologise profusely

  • bastich

There needs to be a "Tiny Girl Avengers" movie.

    Make it happen, Whedon!

  • Captain_Tuttle

Damn. And here I was being proud of myself for stuffing a couple of stocking legs & sewing them on to a shirt to make my kid a spider.

  • Mrs. Julien

A couple of years ago, Little J went as a pirate and his hook hand was the dough hook from my mixer. It was so cold that year, that he had to wear his peacoat over his costume. At least that made it sort of thematically appropriate.

  • mswas

You SHOULD be proud. You just made a Spiderkid!

  • the dude

Why is the hammer going towards her the wrong way? If Thor did that he would knock himself out.

  • Mrs. Julien

I suspect it was how the person taking to photo had to hold it so Thor could be "summoning" it.

  • The kid wins at Halloween. The aunt wins at life.

  • Carey Adams

That costume was definitely made with love. A lot of adorable details. I'm afraid I'm no good at that stuff and my kids have to settle for the typical store bought costumes.

  • Maguita NYC

More and more stores should start encouraging that type of cross-gender outfits for Halloween. I bet you that Thor would have sold out!

  • ray

god bless the makers of tasteful costumes for girls and women

  • John W

"Whosoever holds this hammer if (S)he be worthy shall possess the power of Thor."

  • BlackRabbit

Are her shoes dirty? Dirty shoes are the mark of a kid who knows how to have fun playing.

  • Maguita NYC

Too frigging cute! And cudos to auntie, she did a great job for her little niece.
