As some of you know, the citizens of Scotland will be voting on whether or not they wish to become independent from the United Kingdom this week. It’s a question with a lot of factors, and a lot of people who are very passionate about both options. One of those people is Groundskeeper Willie:

No matter how the vote goes, it will be the first time the people of Scotland have had a say in whether or not they are united with the rest of the UK. The original union came about due to the Treaty of Union which was negotiated by the respective parliaments of England and Scotland and was not put to a popular vote.
