Zack Attack Gives Public Enemey a "Time Out"

Jimmy Fallon’s new show still sucks. However, I do kinda love that he’s trying to put together a “Saved by the Bell” reunion. So far, he’s got Mr. Belding, Lisa Turtle and A.C. Slater on board. But in a surprise twist, Mark Paul Gosselaar came out onto the show last night in full-on Zack Morris mode, and announced that he was in for the reunion (and said Elizabeth Berkley was too). Gosselaar has tried to stay far, far away from the whole Zack Morris thing since making his move to be a serious actor back in the “NYPD Blue” days. Good to see he’s now willing to have a little fun with himself.

Meanwhile, how’s this for fucking bizarre — on Saturday, the Roots were backing Public Enemy. On Monday, they were backing the Zack Attack.

Come on Tiffani Thiessen and Dustin Diamond — you guys literally don’t have shit to do, so have some and get on board with this thing.

Maybe having Diamond sit this one out wouldn't be the worst idea.

Yeah, you do realize that Dustin Diamond is kind of an unmitigated douche, right?

Diamond has been busy with a well-received foray into porn.

That just made my day.

That. was. Awesome! I watched Saved by the Bell religiously as a kid. I must have seen every episode fifty times. I even had the college years on tape.(eck) I wanted to be Kelly Kapowski. Not a big fan of Jimmy Fallon's late night show, but that clip was great.

OMG that would be the best ever. Sans Screech. I don't think I can stomach any more Dustin Diamond.

They don't need to make a reunion- I can tell you what happened to them:

Zack- Having attended Cal U instead of Yale, Zack solidified his penchant for prefering the obviously idiotic choice over the option anyone with an IQ over 50 would choose. Hence, he voted for George Bush. Both times.

Jesse- As the feminist who happily dated the sexist, Jesse ended up a meat-eating PETA volunteer who in her spare time enjoys campaigning for gun control, which sooo doesn't conflict with her weekend target practice on the firing range, cuz women have to protect themselves, okay?

AC- finally came out of the closet and cannot believe we all didn't guess sooner. Because what jock dates a feminist?

Lisa- like totally ended up where every 15-year-old girl who is committed to 'fashion' ends up- can you say Retail Manager?

Kelly- As the quintessential 'all-American girl', Kelly ended up stripping to pay for college, got married after a two-year long career, had 4 children, cut her hair short, filled her wardrobe with khakis, and started to use the word 'cute' to describe everything.

Screech- He sold his robot Kevin for 25 billion dollars but still couldn't seal the deal with Retail Manager Lisa.

Mr. Belding- His career at the University of Tennessee ended tragically when when locals mistook his 'Professor of Liberal Arts' title with 'Liberal'.

A friend of mine from college spent a summer in LA, and he said he saw Dennis Haskins (Mr Belding)at the same karaoke bar every night. Apparently this karaoke bar was the only fame he could desperately fondle anymore.

Yeah, I'm guessing he "has time for a reunion".

But what about Hayley Mills? It's gotta be all or nothing!

I just saw this and came here to make sure you guys had posted it. This made my whole day worthwhile. I would totally watch The Zack Morris Show.

Make it happen, TV execs! That's a freebie!
