Finally! You Can Now Spend Christmas At Hogwarts, and Without Any of Those Damn Kids Around

If you’ve ever dreamed about spending time at Hogwarts— and no, I don’t mean the Universal Studios version— this may be the closest you’ll ever get. The Warner Brothers Studio Tour in Leavesden, just south of London, takes fans through backlots and soundstages of a converted old aircraft factory, filled with thousands of props and set pieces from the movies. Seeing the actual sets, not recreations, from the films sounds cool enough, but for one night only, the tour will be hosting Christmas dinner in the school’s Great Hall.

The event takes place on December 3rd, so presumably you don’t have to ditch your actual family for the holidays. Even more important, considering the event is 18+ only. That’s great news, because if I’m going to spend the roughly $350 the night costs to wear a Weasley sweater and drink butterbeer in Hogwarts, I don’t want any damn kids around mucking it up.

In addition to the Great Hall dinner, you can also hang out in the Gryffindor common room, the Weasley’s kitchen, have dessert on Platform 9 3/4, and do a little dancing. (So don’t forget your dress robes.) This sounds like a near-perfect night for Potter fans. Throw in a goblin decorating trees, and that’ll seal the deal.
