Anyone who’s ever listened to an audio book knows that the narrator is just about as important as the book itself. It’s crucial to find the perfect voice, that can capture the spirit of the book and really hook the reader. For Adam Mansbach’s Go the Fuck to Sleep, we may have thought we’d found the perfect voice with Samuel L. Jackson, but we were wrong. Mansbach’s new book You Have to Fucking Eat is read by the equally soothing and terrifying Bryan Cranston. I’m guessing any of you Pajibans with tiny whiny food snobs of your own will appreciate the stern but loving voice of The One Who Cooks.
