The Return of Sharknado
Penn and Teller: Fool Us on The CW at 8:00pm ET. Series premiere. This is about as far as I’ve ever seen that “series premiere” designation stretched. This series originally aired on ITV. In January of 2011. In the show, magicians would perform for Penn and Teller and if neither could explain how their trick was done, they got the chance to be the opening act for Penn and Teller’s Las Vegas show. You can look up all the results online right now and save yourself a lot of time. Oh, this episode was also originally an hour and a half and it’s been chopped down to one to fit the time slot. I’m sure that’ll make it even better!
So You Think You Can Dance on Fox at 8:00pm ET.
Sharknado 2: The Second One on SyFy at 9:00pm ET. Original telefilm. I watched the whole first one, and it was like half of a hilarious premise combined with a lot of terrible acting, nonsensical plot, and the best special effects a desktop computer in 1996 could offer. I’m betting this one will be even more of that. I’m well aware that many of you consider that a good thing.
Suits on USA at 9:00pm ET.
The Bridge on FX at 10:00pm ET.
Genevieve Burgess actually hasn’t decided whether or not she’ll be watching ‘Sharknado’ and may leave it up to the voice of the people.
