The Bachelor on ABC at 8:00pm ET. Three hour long 22nd season finale. Like, one of these relationships ever worked out, right? But people like watching for the fantasy of it. But that’s why we watch movies. I feel like there’s really not a good answer for why “reality” TV has to exist rather than scripted TV that tells interesting stories except that it’s a lot cheaper to make “reality” TV because you can pay people way less when they’re convinced they can rocket to fame as a leading diet supplement spokesperson by pretending to fall in love with some bland doofus in a few weeks.

The Alienist on TNT at 9:00pm ET.

Divided States on A&E at 9:00pm ET. Series premiere.

iZombie on The CW at 9:00pm ET. Still a really awful name. Also, I only just figured out that that one Imagine Dragons song is “Sucker for Pain” because I just kept hearing “sucker for brains” and didn’t think a zombie song was that far out of their wheelhouse. What with “Radioactive” and that song that was just a dare to write a song using only the word “Thunder.” More rock songs about zombies is my point here.

Good Girls on NBC at 10:01pm ET.
