Not Any More Funny-Looking Than Most People

Glee on Fox at 8:00pm ET.

New Girl on Fox at 9:00pm ET.

The Mindy Project on Fox at 9:30pm ET. Featuring a special guest turn by Max Greenfield of New Girl! That’s, exciting-ish.

Awkward on MTV at 10:00pm ET. One hour fourth season premiere. I’m pretty sure “awkward” has become so overused that it’s lost any semblance of true meaning or impact. Pretty awkward, right?

Fargo on FX at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. I’m actually not a huge fan of this trend of turning movies into TV shows. Hannibal has its good moments, but I’m finding the huge deviations from the source material are turning me off more and more. I won’t even touch the About a Boy sitcom for fear of ruining a movie I really enjoy, and if it weren’t for the cast I’d probably be a hard pass on this as well. I realize the Coen brother are also executive producers, but “executive producer” can mean a whole lot of things and none of them necessarily mean “heavily involved.” Anyway, fingers crossed that this doesn’t embarrass itself.

Genevieve Burgess always finds writing these little blurbs kinda awkward.
