Live Television: Still Occasionally Dangerous

By Genevieve Burgess | Miscellaneous | August 3, 2016 |

CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock on ABC at 8:00pm ET.

America’s Got Talent on NBC at 8:00pm ET. Apparently last night someone was accidentally shot with a flaming arrow, so don’t sleep on America’s Got Talent.

Botched by Nature on E! at 9:00pm ET. Apparently the success of the plastic surgery disaster recovery series Botched was so great that E is now encroaching on the TLC area of natural disfigurements and ailments in their own special way. The fact that they’ve chosen to call a show, focusing on disfigurements and ailments that necessitate plastic surgery to repair damage, Botched by Nature makes me angry in a lot of ways that I haven’t quite figured out how to articulate fully. Stay tuned, though, there’s a whole season for me to figure it out!

Another Period on Comedy Central at 10:00pm ET.

Mr.Robot on USA at 10:00pm ET.
