Riverdale on The CW at 8:00pm ET.

The X-Files on Fox at 8:00pm ET.

Life Sentence on The CW at 9:00pm ET. Series premiere. This is a new show about a woman who was a teenaged cancer patient with a terminal illness, who has been miraculously cured and now has to put a life together after spending years living like she had no tomorrow. This sounds like it could be an interesting premise, but the reviews I’ve seen seem to indicate that The CW is taking the lightest possible approach to the topic, which is not a huge surprise. Lucy Hale recently of Pretty Little Liars stars.

American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace on FX at 10:00pm ET. I swear that the week before I went on vacation they said they were taking a week off and coming back with the last two episodes. Apparently, that is not the case. We are still spending a whole lot of time in the imagined life of Andrew Cunanan, which I continue to have very mixed feelings about.

Hap & Leonard on Sundance at 10:00pm ET. Third season premiere.

Full Frontal with Samantha Bee on TBS at 10:30pm ET.
