As best I can tell, this is a reality series that has grown out of those annual local-interest pieces on the best display of Christmas lights in the viewing area. Which is far more high-concept than most reality series, to be fair.
Six by Sondheim on HBO at 9:00pm ET. I’d recommend this for those of you who are into Sondheim, but I suspect you’ve already got the date circled and starred. In case you need extra motivation, here’s a full rundown of what’s going to be featured in this documentary.
Sleepy Hollow on Fox at 9:00pm ET.
The Sing-Off on NBC at 9:02pm ET. Two hour fourth season premiere. The episode is title “The Sing-Off is Back!” which, I believe, vastly overestimates the level of enthusiasm your average television viewer has for The Sing-Off.
