5 Shows After Dark: I Love Natalie Dormer Too, Which is Why I'm Concerned at Her Contortions Here

The iHeart Radio Album Release Party with Lady Gaga on The CW at 8:00pm ET. One of the fun parts of the internet is that because that the rush to be first is forcing cultural commentators to turn around opinions and predictions in less than 24 hours, if not within an hour or two, so the race to declare Lady Gaga a failure started approximately a week before this album actually dropped. Disappointingly, it’s selling just as well as as Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus’s latest albums, if not as well as Born This Way. Also, Interscope isn’t actually going to lose $25 million on it.

Esquire Special: Women We Love on Esquire at 8:00pm ET. Listen, guys, I don’t mean to blow your mind or anything but I’ve noticed that “Esquire” tends to love women who look really good in lingerie. Weird, right? Given that it’s a men’s fashion and lifestyle magazine you’d think a not-insignificant portion of the audience would prefer women in tastefully styled evening wear.

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD on ABC at 8:00pm ET.

New Girl on Fox at 9:00pm ET.

Sons of Anarchy on FX at 10:00pm ET.

Genevieve Burgess would like you to know that “Applause” as a single is a terrible barometer for the rest of the album.
