How Old Were You When You Won Your Second Gold Medal?

2014 Olympic Winter Games on NBC at 8:00pm ET. Figure skating is back with the ladies short program which will likely be dominated by the technically flawless 15-year-old Yulia Lipnitskaya. Additionally, we have the conclusion of women’s bobsled where USA sled #1 is currently in first place, men’s Alpine skiing, and men’s snowboarding parallel giant slalom. I have no idea what that last event is, but it certainly sounds exciting and dangerous.

Inside the Actor’s Studio on Bravo at 8:00pm ET. This episode features Amy Adams, and it could be hard to watch. It was filmed soon after Philip Seymour Hoffman’s death, and reports were that she burst into tears when asked about working with him on Doubt and The Master.

Criminal Minds on CBS at 9:00pm ET.

Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond on BBCA at 10:00pm ET. First season finale.

Broad City on Comedy Central at 10:30pm ET.

Genevieve Burgess is happy to be in a profession where teenage phenoms aren’t a threat to her career.

Must be one horrible ice dancing competition with no gays allowed.

Ice dancing ended Monday. Not so bad, actually. The last group was pretty awesome, even with all the staright guys.

I think it was the costumes that were most affected. The skating was great, but so so boring. There was no pomp and flash.

The podium finishers in the men's singles were pretty rhinestoned and pastel...

True enough, but I bet it's because Johnny Weir was chained to his chair in the broadcasting booth.

  • googergieger

Weir was allowed in the country? Fucking hell Putin has worse gaydar than umm, hmm, one of my aunts to this day thinks Juan Gabriel is straight, and gets angry at anyone who says otherwise.

  • e jerry powell

Putin and Weir were even in the same building. More than once.

    Poor dear, sweet delusional GB...

FYI: I usually write these the night before unless it's over a weekend. So. I know.

(And you're still a skating NERD!)

I watched the last group after lunch, and I watched the first three groups before dinner. Still need to watch the fourth group, but it's on the DVR, so I'll get to it before bed.
