Finally Time to Clean Up This Train Wreck

The Great Christmas Light Fight on ABC at 8:00pm ET. Second season finale.

Tiny House Nation on FYI at 9:00pm ET. Second season premiere. There is a part of the whole “Tiny House” thing that appeals to a specific section of my brain that appreciates order and enjoys wandering through the Ikea dioramas of tiny but perfectly arranged apartments. Then I remember that I am not the kind of person who does things like “order” or “perfectly arranged” and this will never be the life I live.

Major Crimes on TNT at 9:00pm ET. Detective Laura Roslin is still going strong, then? Good for her.

State of Affairs on NBC at 10:00pm ET. First season fall finale.

Anger Management on FX at 10:30pm ET. Series finale. On the one hand, I am thrilled that this abomination is being quietly ushered off our televisions and we can begin the process of pretending it never happened. On the other hand, apparently FX declined to renew the show on FRIDAY, which is a remarkably abrupt end to the series for everyone who is not Charlie Sheen who was working on it.

Genevieve Burgess sends good job wishes for 2015 to everyone who had to suffer through working on FX’s misguided attempt to capture that ‘Tiger Blood’ zeitgeist.
