Cold-War Style is So Hot Right Now

Community on NBC at 8:00pm ET. Fifth season premiere. There’s two episodes in a row tonight, so make sure to stay put after the first one’s over.

The Taste on ABC at 8:00pm ET. Two hour second season premiere. More reality cooking competitions! Because I need something to get the taste of all those Chopped marathons out of my brain.

The Assets on ABC at 10:00pm ET. Series premiere. With all the various ads for new shows I’ve seen recently, this one came as a complete surprise so that doesn’t bode well. According to the internet, it’s based on the book Circle of Treason: A CIA Account of Traitor Aldrich Ames and the Men He Betrayed so they definitely managed to get a snappier title in the transition. Aldrich Ames, to save some of you a trip to Google, compromised the second-largest number of CIA assets to Russia and was convicted in 1994. I am cautiously optimistic, as the premise sounds pretty interesting.

Parenthood on NBC at 10:00pm ET. Fifth season winter premiere.

Elementary on CBS at 10:01pm ET. Second season winter premiere.

Genevieve Burgess is enjoying getting to experience the Cold War via television series.

Here's some Daveed Diggs for you. On Daveed Diggs' digs, actually. That man does things with clothes that should not make sense, but are absolutely perfect. (Go Fug Yourself)

Woody Allen has "so moved on" from his daughter's accusations and says he never even thinks about it. He equates her words about him to a bad review he won't read and comments on how wacky it is that Mia Farrow is his mother-in-law. He is the worst. (Celebitchy)

Not The Worst but still very gross: Leonardo DiCaprio and his Pussy Posse Wolf Pack were on the douche prowl in NYC. (Lainey)

Here are 5 under-the-radar shows. I had never even heard of the first two. (Uproxx)
