American Idol on Fox at 8:00pm Et.

2014 Olympic Winter Games on NBC at 8:00pm ET. Tonight’s events are pairs figure skating, women’s downhill Alpine skiing, women’s halfpipe snowboarding, and men’s speed skating. That halfpipe was chewing people up and spitting them out yesterday, so if that’s your kind of entertainment then you know what you’re doing tonight.

Nova: Great Cathedral Mystery on PBS at 9:00pm ET. This is about the mystery of how the dome of the Duomo in Florence was constructed. Apparently, it’s a complete mystery how Filippo Brunelleschi managed to keep the dome perfectly aligned and symmetrical while it was being built. I’m kind of sad I didn’t know that when I was actually visiting Florence, although had I been aware of the ongoing mystery I may not have climbed to the top of the dome as cavalierly as I did.

Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond on BBCA at 10:00pm ET.

Broad City on Comedy Central at 10:30pm ET.

Genevieve Burgess recommends shoes with good tread and a lack of claustrophobic thoughts for anyone interested in climbing the Duomo.
