5 Shows After Dark: At Least Wigs Have Improved Since the Revolution

Monday Night Football: Miami Dolphins at Tampa Bay Buccaneers on ESPN at 8:40pm ET. I genuinely thought the stories about the Miami Dolphins were a joke at first because I could not wrap my brain around “Richie Incognito” as an actual name. I have never understood the concept of physical and emotional abuse as a “team-building” method, and hopefully with some of the attention this is getting will help change that culture.

American Experience: JFK: Part One on PBS at 9:00pm ET. What did I tell you guys about all the JFK stuff this month?

Dial One for Vets on HBO at 9:00pm ET. This is a documentary exploring the epidemic of suicides among American war veterans.

Sleepy Hollow on Fox at 9:00pm ET. I realize that Buzzfeed isn’t the most beloved of sites around here, due to the fact that they traffic in lazy link-bait and occasionally outright steal material, but I am grateful that someone over there put together this lovely collection of cute tidbits about the Sleepy Hollow cast. Highlight: Orlando Jone’s comment about him shipping Irving and the “Headless” sign.

Castle on ABC at 10:01pm ET.

Genevieve Burgess needs to find the video of Tom Mison referring to himself as a “flouncing tart.” For research.

Sleepy Hollow is dumb as hell (seriously, last week with the Lost Colony? The wha???) but I LOVE IT. Tom Mison might just get into my Five Freebies at this rate, nowhamsayin?

And the Bucs say thank you to Miami for distracting folks from their own set of colossal fuck-ups.

EDIT: OMG, they WON! They WON! WOO-HOO! We're 1-8 now!

I hardly every notice wigs in movies or TV shows. The only ones that ever stood out for me were on Buffy or Angel. Angel's wig was the worst.

  • Repo

I know not many of you are still suffering through How I Met Your Mother, but heads up Bryan Cranston has a returning guest spot tonight, and he's always gold.

OMG, everything about Orlando Jones and tumblr on that list was amazing. I mean were those his actual posts, BY HIM? Are you telling me that Orlando Jones is a not so secret fandom nerd who talks about shipping and feels and knows what AO3 and yaoi and mpreg are and may or may not be secretly infiltrating the fandom and writting fic? My mind is blown and I think I love him forever.

  • Berry

I don't watch this show, and wasn't familiar with Orlando Jones till this morning, and now I'm seriously in love. Often when certain type of fans and creators collide the results can look very awkward, but he's just adorable.

  • Uriah_Creep

Much like the Game of Thrones cast, these guys seem to have a lot of fun and don't take themselves too seriously. I had no idea Orlando Jones was so much fun.

  • Jifaner

I know! I feel like I haven't paid his character nearly enough attention now.

  • Ben

Seriosuly follow the dude on tumblr or twitter, he is amazing.
This is seriously his tumblrs wallpaper at the moment.

  • Jifaner

    This makes me so happy

  • Meg

Annnnd I just found my new computer background

There are so many things I love about this. I think my favorite is the guy's hand very high up on Jones' thigh.
