The Vampire Diaries on The CW at 8:00pm ET.

How It’s Made on Science at 9:00pm ET. HEY, GUYS, WEIRD INTERNET TIME! So, I don’t know how many of you are familiar with the whole “ASMR” thing but basically if there is a noise or kind of personal interaction that’s ever made your head feel tingly and relaxed you, it’s that. Some people make videos on YouTube to trigger this response, but before I ever found those (or the fact that this had a name) I had How It’s Made as my very favorite nap time show in college. The silent, repetitive images along with the calm yet engaged voice of the narrator just put me out like a light. It was great. Now I can go to YouTube and have some girl halfway around the world give me a fake reiki reading for the same effect, but I still have a big soft spot for How It’s Made. Today they’re making storage sheds, industrial fans, parchment paper, and climbing walls, but I’d probably be down midway through industrial fans.

American Crime on ABC at 10:00pm ET. I’ve seen a couple episodes of this on nights when I’m too apathetic to change the channel after Scandal and it is GRIM. Like, absolute, unrelenting grimness that I guess is a comment on our society but my god is it a bleak one. And Felicity Huffman is doing an absolutely amazing job of playing a completely poisonous, repellant human being. I have a ton of respect for the work she’s doing but I absolutely do not want to see anymore of it.

Vikings on History Channel at 10:00pm ET. Third season finale.

Louie on FX at 10:30pm ET.

Genevieve Burgess enjoys when the internet allows her to connect with other people over things she didn’t realize were a thing for other people.
